Transcript updated twice but WMR not showing path message - Has 3 good codes but no 846
My transcript updated twice now showing good codes (no 846 yet) but Where's My Refund still hasn't updated to show the PATH message which usually happens. Got me worried cause this is different from previous years. Anyone else experiencing this?

Tax specialist here - this is actually pretty normal for 2025. The IRS systems aren't always in sync. The transcript is the most accurate source of info, and WMR can lag behind by several days. What matters most are the codes on your transcript, not the WMR tool. If you're seeing positive codes, that's a good sign.

Look for 150 (return filed), 766 (credit applied), and 768 (earned income credit). These usually come before 846.
