Need help understanding transcript codes - waiting for 846 refund code
Filed my return and got accepted. Looking at my transcript and trying to figure out if I'm approved already. Still seeing the PATH message on Where's My Refund tool. Anyone know if I just need to wait for the 846 code at this point? Hoping it updates this weekend.

Your return is still processing through the PATH act verification period. Even if you see processing codes on your transcript, you won't see an 846 deposit code until after the PATH act lifting date (mid-February). WMR will continue showing the PATH message until then. Once you see cycle code 846, that's your official refund date.

•Transcripts typically update overnight between Thursday and Friday mornings. WMR updates more frequently, usually daily.
