WMR changed from Path to Processing, Transcript shows No Return Filed - Filed/Accepted Jan 28

Filed and got accepted January 28th but my Where's My Refund just changed from PATH message to 'still being processed'. When I check my transcripts it says no record of return filed. No letters in my account either. Anyone know whats going on?

Here's what's happening: The WMR (Where's My Refund) status change from PATH to 'Processing' actually means your return is moving forward in the system. However, seeing 'No Return Filed' on your transcript while you got an acceptance on Jan 28 is totally normal this early in the season - there's often a lag between acceptance and transcript updates. The IRS systems take time to sync up, especially during peak filing season. I'd suggest checking out taxr.ai (https://taxr.ai) - it's this new AI tool that can analyze your transcripts and tell you exactly where things stand and when to expect movement. Way better than playing the guessing game with WMR.

Usually takes about 1-2 weeks after acceptance, but PATH returns might take longer. taxr.ai can give you a more specific timeline based on your situation

This is actually pretty common right now. The PATH message lifting doesn't automatically mean your return is actually being processed. The system is showing 'still processing' because it's in the initial verification stage. Your return is in the system but hasn't been assigned to the processing queue yet. Give it about 2 weeks from when the PATH message lifted.

Hey! I was in the same boat and found this tool called taxr.ai that helped me understand exactly what was happening with my transcript. It costs $1 but it saved me hours of research and anxiety. The AI told me exactly where my return was stuck and when to expect movement. https://taxr.ai

Check your tax transcript for code 570. If you see that, there might be an issue they're reviewing. But tbh the whole system is backed up bad this year
