Transcript updated twice but WMR not showing path message - good codes but no 846
My transcript updated with codes twice this week but Where's My Refund hasn't changed to the PATH message like it usually does. I see three good transaction codes but still no 846 refund issued code. Starting to get nervous about this since its different from previous years.

Tax specialist here - this is actually pretty normal for 2025 processing. The WMR tool often lags behind transcript updates. The good news is that seeing multiple positive codes is a good sign. Your return is likely going through standard processing. Just keep monitoring your transcript for that 846 code.

Same thing happened to me last year! The transcript updates way faster than WMR - sometimes by weeks. As long as you're seeing positive movement on your transcript with good codes, you're in the system and processing. The 846 will show up soon enough. WMR is notoriously unreliable, especially early in the season when they're still working out the kinks.
