Retroactive payments from DEO hitting accounts today - check CONNECT!
Just logged into CONNECT and saw that the DEO is processing $375 ($337.50 after taxes) in supplemental payments today! This is for the Wage Replacement Program from last month when the system was down for those 3 weeks. They're paying it all as one lump sum payment instead of separate payments for each week. Check your accounts - mine says it's processing now and should hit my Way2Go card by tomorrow morning. Anyone else seeing this? I wasn't expecting anything since they were so vague about whether we'd get compensated for that system outage!

•So glad it helped you! Did yours say processing or is it already deposited? Mine still just shows processing but has a payment date of tomorrow.

This is partially correct, but to clarify: DEO is issuing Temporary Income Supplement (TIS) payments to qualified claimants affected by the February system maintenance outage. The $375 represents $125 per eligible week (up to 3 weeks maximum). To qualify, you must have had an active claim during the outage period AND certified those weeks promptly after the system came back online. If you're only seeing part of this amount, you likely had fewer eligible weeks or have a partial qualification situation. These payments should post to your account within 24-48 hours after showing as 'processing' in CONNECT.

•but why is mine only showing $250 then? I had claimed all 3 weeks as soon as the system was back up??

I don't see ANYTHING in my account and I definitely had weeks during the outage. Is this rolling out in batches or something? Should I be worried?

•The DEO always does these rollouts in batches so they don't crash the payment system. Give it until Friday before panicking. But if you're worried and want to actually talk to someone at DEO (miracle, I know), I used Claimyr last month when my payments were stuck in pending for no reason. Got me through to an agent in about 20 minutes instead of calling for days. Their site is claimyr.com and they have a video showing how it works: https://youtu.be/UzW_hbUy-ss?si=zORd51jeq1GX5Ldj - definitely worth it when you're stressing about missing money.

This payment is the Temporary Income Supplement (TIS) program that DEO announced in their March 15 press release. It's specifically designed to compensate claimants for the extended system maintenance in February. Important details everyone should know: 1. The payment is $125 per eligible week (maximum 3 weeks = $375 total) 2. Eligibility requires an active claim during the system outage AND timely certification once the system restored 3. These payments ARE subject to normal income tax withholding (typically 10%) 4. The funds will appear with a special code "TIS-2025" on your payment history 5. These are one-time payments and not an ongoing benefit If your payment amount seems incorrect, check your individual week eligibility in the Determination History section of CONNECT. Some weeks may have been disqualified based on earnings or work availability issues.

•Thanks for explaining this clearly! Do you know if these TIS payments count against our regular benefit year maximum? I'm getting close to my benefit year end and don't want this to use up my remaining regular weeks.

I got excited and checked but nothing for me :( Called the DEO automated line and it says I have an "adjudication issue" whatever that means. Been waiting 4 weeks for my regular payments, now I'll miss this too. Florida's system is such garbage.

•Adjudication usually means they're reviewing something on your claim. Did you work at all during those weeks? Or maybe answered one of the questions differently than usual? Sometimes even a small change can trigger a review.

•No idea. I answer everything the same way every time. Probably just random DEO nonsense. Been trying to call for weeks and can't get through to ask about it.

UPDATE: I just spoke with a DEO supervisor about the TIS payments. For those with missing weeks: they are processing in batches by the LAST DIGIT of your claimant ID number. Digits 0-3 processed today, 4-6 will process tomorrow, and 7-9 will process Thursday. If you don't see your full eligible amount by Friday, then you should call to inquire.

•THANK YOU! My ID ends in 8 so that explains why I don't see anything yet. Really appreciate this info.

Quick question - does anybody know if we need to do anything special to get these payments? I was definitely claiming during the outage period but haven't checked my CONNECT account in about two weeks since my claim year ended. Should I log in and look for something specific or will they just automatically process it for eligible accounts?

•These payments should process automatically if you met the eligibility criteria. However, since your benefit year recently ended, I would recommend logging in to verify your account status. In some cases, claimants with recently expired benefit years need to confirm their contact information before supplemental payments can be issued. Check your 'Important Messages' section in CONNECT after logging in.

Just wanted to share my experience for anyone still waiting - my payment hit my direct deposit account about 2 hours ago even though CONNECT still shows "processing"! I'm in the 4-6 digit group that was supposed to process tomorrow according to Zara's update, so it looks like they might be moving faster than expected. The amount was exactly $337.50 after taxes for all 3 weeks. For those still waiting, keep checking your actual bank/card accounts even if CONNECT hasn't updated yet!
