EDDCAN registration error: info doesn't match. Help!

Ugh, I had the same issue! Make sure you're entering it EXACTLY as it appears on the letter. I mean like, to the T. No extra spaces, no missing dashes. It's super picky.

Have you tried calling them? I know it's a pain, but sometimes talking to a real person is the only way to get these things sorted out.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone without waiting forever. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. This whole system is so broken. Why can't they just make it work properly? We're already stressed about unemployment, and then we have to deal with this nonsense. 🤦‍♂️

Here's what worked for me: 1. Clear your browser cache and cookies 2. Use a different browser (I switched from Chrome to Firefox and it worked) 3. Try entering the number without any dashes or spaces 4. Double-check your personal info (address, SSN, etc.) to make sure it matches exactly what EDD has on file 5.
