EDD Money Network Card Arrival Time: How Long Does It Take?
Hey everyone, I'm wondering if anyone knows when the EDD Money Network card is supposed to arrive in the mail? I've been waiting for a while and I'm getting a bit anxious. Has anyone else had experience with this? How long did it take for yours to come?

Here's what I know about the EDD Money Network card delivery process: β’ After your claim is approved, it usually takes 7-10 business days for the card to be mailed out. β’ The card is sent via regular mail, not express or priority. β’ You should receive an email notification when the card has been mailed. β’ If you haven't received your card within 10 business days of that email, you should contact Bank of America EDD Debit Card Customer Service. β’ Make sure your address is correct in your EDD account. Any discrepancies can delay the process. β’ If you've moved recently, you might need to update your address and request a new card. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. (https://claimyr.com

When you apply for unemployment benefits, the EDD Money Network card is typically sent out 7-10 business days after your claim is approved. However, due to high demand or postal delays, this time frame can sometimes extend to 3 weeks or more. It's essential to ensure your address is updated in your EDD account to avoid any delays. If you haven't received your card within this period, contacting the Bank of America's EDD Debit Card Customer Service is advisable. For faster resolution, tools like Claimyr are available, which help skip the long EDD phone queues for a fee. While Claimyr has been reported as effective by some users, remember that persistence and patience are key. Also, once you receive your card, setting up direct deposit can prevent future delays. This way, funds are electronically transferred to your bank account directly, bypassing the mail system. While Claimyr offers a valuable service, depending on your situation, this fee might not be justifiable, and you can still opt to reach out through other means, keeping consistent with your inquiries.

Guys, I think I found a hack. If you call the Bank of America EDD line instead of the regular EDD number, the wait times are way shorter. They can at least tell you if your card has been mailed out.

I'm in the same situation! Been waiting about 2 weeks now since my claim was approved. The uncertainty is the worst part - like, did they actually mail it or is it just sitting in some processing center? I've been checking the mailbox obsessively too. Really hoping it shows up soon because I have rent due next week. Thanks for posting this question, at least now I know I'm not alone in this waiting game!

I'm currently waiting for mine too - it's been about 12 days since my claim was approved. From what I've gathered reading through everyone's experiences here, it seems like the timeline is pretty inconsistent. Some people get it in 7-10 days, others are waiting 3+ weeks. I called the Bank of America EDD line (thanks @Charlee Coleman for that tip!) and they confirmed my card was mailed out 3 days ago, so at least I know it's on its way. The waiting is definitely nerve-wracking when you're counting on those funds. Fingers crossed we all get our cards soon! π€

β’That's actually really smart calling the Bank of America line to check! I didn't even think of that. I'm going to try that tomorrow - at least knowing it's been mailed would give me some peace of mind. It's crazy how inconsistent the timing is though. You'd think they'd have a more streamlined process by now. Thanks for sharing that update and good luck with yours! π€

Mine took exactly 8 business days to arrive after my claim was approved. I was checking the mail like crazy every day too! One thing that helped was creating an account on the USPS website to track mail coming to my address - you can see when important mail is being delivered. Also, make sure your address is exactly correct in your EDD account because even small differences can cause delays. The waiting is super stressful when you're depending on those funds, but it will come! In the meantime, you might want to call that Bank of America number someone mentioned to at least confirm it's been sent out.

β’That's a great tip about the USPS tracking! I didn't know you could set that up to see incoming mail. I'm definitely going to try that - anything to reduce the anxiety of not knowing when it's coming. It's reassuring to hear yours came in exactly 8 days, gives me hope that there's some predictability to this process. I'll also double-check my address in the EDD system to make sure everything matches perfectly. Thanks for the practical advice!

I'm going through the exact same thing right now! My claim was approved about 10 days ago and I'm still waiting for the card to show up. The not knowing is driving me crazy - I keep refreshing my EDD account hoping for some kind of update or tracking info. I'm going to try calling that Bank of America number someone mentioned (1-866-692-9374) to at least confirm they've sent it out. It's wild how much this varies for different people - some get it in a week, others are waiting over a month. Really hoping mine shows up in the next few days because I've got bills piling up. Thanks for starting this thread, it's actually really comforting to know so many of us are in the same boat!

β’I totally feel you on the anxiety! I just went through this same waiting period and it's absolutely nerve-wracking when you're depending on those funds. The 10-day mark is right around when mine showed up, so you're probably getting close! Definitely call that BoA number - it really does help to at least know it's been mailed out. One thing that helped me was setting up that USPS informed delivery that someone mentioned earlier so I could see what mail was coming each day. Hang in there, it should arrive soon! π€

I'm currently on day 9 since my claim was approved and still no card in sight! Reading through everyone's experiences here is both reassuring and nerve-wracking - it's good to know I'm not alone, but scary to see some people waiting over a month. I just called the Bank of America EDD line (1-866-692-9374) that @Charlee Coleman mentioned and they confirmed my card was mailed 4 days ago, so at least it's in transit. Also signed up for USPS Informed Delivery like @Max Knight suggested - wish I had known about that sooner! The waiting game is brutal when you have rent and bills due. Fingers crossed it shows up in the next few days. Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences and tips - this community has been a lifesaver! π

β’Hey @Daniel White, I'm so glad those tips are helping! I'm actually in a similar spot - been waiting about 8 days since my claim was approved and just got off the phone with Bank of America. They told me my card was shipped yesterday, so hopefully it'll be here by early next week. The USPS Informed Delivery thing is genius - I can't believe I never knew about that before! It's crazy how much peace of mind just knowing it's actually been mailed gives you. This whole thread has been super helpful for managing the anxiety of waiting. Hope yours shows up really soon! π€

I've been waiting 13 days since my claim was approved and still nothing! This thread has been so helpful though - I had no idea about calling the Bank of America line directly or setting up USPS Informed Delivery. Just called 1-866-692-9374 and they confirmed my card was mailed out 5 days ago, so hopefully it'll arrive this week. It's crazy how much the timeline varies for everyone - some get it in a week, others wait over a month. The anxiety of not knowing when it's coming while bills are piling up is honestly the worst part. At least now I have some concrete info and better tracking tools. Thanks to everyone sharing their experiences and tips - makes this whole waiting game a little more bearable! π

β’I'm in almost the exact same situation - 12 days since approval and still waiting! Just tried calling that Bank of America number after reading your comment and it was actually really helpful. I also just signed up for that USPS Informed Delivery thing - can't believe I didn't know about that before! I'm in the exact same situation! Been waiting 11 days since my claim was approved and checking the mailbox multiple times a day like it's going to magically make it arrive faster π This thread has been incredibly helpful though - I had no idea about calling Bank of America directly or the USPS Informed Delivery service. Just called 1-866-692-9374 and they confirmed my card was mailed out 3 days ago, which is such a relief to at least know it's actually on its way. The uncertainty is honestly the hardest part when you're depending on those funds for rent and groceries. It's crazy how much the timeline varies - some people get lucky with 7-10 days while others are waiting weeks. Thanks to everyone sharing their experiences and tips, especially about the BoA number and USPS tracking. β’I totally get the mailbox checking obsession! π I'm on day 14 since approval and doing the exact same thing - sometimes I even check it twice thinking maybe I missed something the first time. Just called that BoA number after reading all these comments and found out my card was actually mailed 6 days ago, so there's hope! The USPS Informed Delivery signup was a game changer too - now I can at least see what's coming each day instead of just hoping. It's honestly such a relief to know so many of us are in this together. The waiting is brutal when bills are due, but at least we have better tracking tools now thanks to everyone's tips! Fingers crossed both of ours arrive this week! π

β’Hey @Ally Tailer! Day 6 is still pretty early in the process, so try not to stress too much yet - though I totally get the anxiety! I just went through this whole waiting game myself and calling that BoA number really helped calm my nerves. Even if they haven't mailed it yet, at least you'll know where things stand. The USPS Informed Delivery is definitely worth setting up too - it's free and gives you a preview of what's coming each day. From what I've seen in this thread, most people seem to get theirs between 7-14 days, so you're probably right in that window. Hang in there! πͺ
