CalJOBS Login Issues - Can't Access Account to Update Info
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble logging into my CalJOBS account. I've tried resetting my password but it's still not working. Has anyone else experienced this issue recently? Any tips on how to get back into my account? I really need to update my information and I'm getting frustrated with the whole process.

Ugh, CalJOBS is such a pain sometimes! 🙄 I had the same issue last month. Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies? That worked for me.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone for CalJOBS issues. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/Ize0EkN4HDI

•Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit?

•Yeah, it's legit. I was skeptical at first too, but it saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo.

Have you tried accessing CalJOBS from a different device? Sometimes it can be a browser compatibility issue.

I swear, the whole unemployment system is designed to be as frustrating as possible. It's like they don't want us to succeed. 🤬

Here's a detailed guide that might help you troubleshoot your CalJOBS login issues: 1. Double-check your username and password 2. Use the 'Forgot Password' feature if needed 3. Clear your browser cache and cookies 4. Try a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge) 5. Disable any ad-blockers or VPNs 6. Check if the site is down: https://downdetector.com/status/caljobs/ 7. Contact CalJOBS support directly if all else fails Hope this helps! Let me know if you need more info on any of these steps.

Have you tried turning it off and on again? 😂 jk jk... but seriously, sometimes a good ol' restart can work wonders.

I had a similar issue and it turned out my account was locked due to too many failed login attempts. You might need to call them to unlock it.

•Oh no, I hope that's not the case for me. Getting through on the phone is a nightmare!

•If you need to call, try that Claimyr service I mentioned earlier. It'll save you hours of hold time.

I've been dealing with CalJOBS login issues for weeks now! What finally worked for me was using an incognito/private browser window. Sometimes the stored data gets corrupted and causes login problems. Also, make sure you're using the exact same email format you originally registered with (some people accidentally use different capitalization or forget if they used a period vs no period). The system is super picky about that stuff. Good luck! 🤞

•Great tip about the incognito window! I never would have thought of that. The email format thing is so annoying - why can't these systems just be more flexible? 😤 I'll definitely try both of these suggestions before I give up and call support.

I had the exact same problem a few weeks ago! What ended up working for me was a combination of things: first I cleared my browser cache and cookies (like others mentioned), then I tried using a different browser entirely. But the real game-changer was when I realized I had been trying to use my old email address that I had changed in my profile but forgot to update for login. Check if you might be using an outdated email or if there were any recent changes to your account info that might be causing conflicts. Also, try logging in during off-peak hours (early morning or late evening) - sometimes the system is just overloaded during busy times. Hope this helps and you get back in soon! 🙏

•This is super helpful! I never thought about the email address issue - I actually did update my email in my profile recently but didn't think it would affect login. That could totally be what's happening. I'll try using my old email address first, and if that doesn't work, I'll go through the other steps you mentioned. Thanks for taking the time to share all these tips! 🙌

•This is exactly what happened to me too! The email address mismatch was driving me crazy for days. I kept trying my new email but the system still wanted the old one for login. Once I figured that out, everything worked perfectly. @Sofia Gutierrez thanks for mentioning the off-peak hours tip - I never thought about server load being an issue but it totally makes sense. For anyone else reading this, I d'also suggest taking a screenshot of your successful login info once you get back in, just in case you forget which email/format worked! 📸

I was having the same exact issue last week and it was driving me absolutely crazy! What finally worked for me was a combination of several things - first, I had to use my original email address (not the updated one in my profile), then I cleared all my browser data and tried in an incognito window. But here's the kicker - I also had to disable my password manager because it was auto-filling some old cached credentials that were interfering with the login process. Once I manually typed everything in fresh, it worked like a charm! Also, if you're still stuck, try calling the CalJOBS technical support line at (916) 654-7799 - they're usually less busy than the main EDD lines and can help specifically with website issues. Don't give up, you'll get through this! 💪

•This is so helpful! I never thought about the password manager interfering - that could definitely be my issue since I use LastPass and it auto-fills everything. I'll try disabling it and typing my credentials manually. Thanks for the technical support number too, I didn't even know there was a separate line for website issues! That's way better than trying to get through to the main EDD number which is always a nightmare. Really appreciate you sharing what worked for you! 🙏

I've been struggling with CalJOBS login issues too! What worked for me was actually contacting my local One-Stop Career Center - they have staff who can help troubleshoot these technical issues and sometimes they can even reset your account on their end. You can find your local center at www.careeronestop.org. I went in person and they were able to get me logged in within 15 minutes. They also showed me some tricks like making sure JavaScript is enabled and that my browser accepts third-party cookies (which CalJOBS apparently needs). If you can't get there in person, many centers also offer phone or video appointments for tech support. Way less frustrating than trying to figure it out alone! 🎯

•This is such a great suggestion! I had no idea that the One-Stop Career Centers could help with CalJOBS technical issues. I've been banging my head against the wall for days trying to figure this out on my own, and it never occurred to me that there might be actual people who could walk me through it. The JavaScript and third-party cookies tip is really useful too - I bet a lot of people don't think to check those settings. I'm definitely going to look up my local center and see if I can get an appointment. Thanks for sharing this resource! 🙌

I went through this exact same nightmare a couple months ago! After trying everything else mentioned here, what finally solved it for me was realizing that CalJOBS has some weird session timeout issues. If you've been trying to log in multiple times in a row, the system might think you're still "logged in" from a previous session even though you're clearly not. What worked was waiting about 30-45 minutes without touching the site at all, then coming back and trying again with a completely fresh browser session (incognito mode). Also double-check that you're going to the right CalJOBS URL - there are some fake/phishing sites out there that look similar. The real one should be caljobs.ca.gov. Hang in there, the system is definitely frustrating but you'll get through it! 🤞

•Wow, the session timeout issue makes so much sense! I've definitely been guilty of frantically trying to log in over and over again when it's not working. I never thought that the system might still think I'm logged in from a previous attempt. The 30-45 minute waiting period is a great tip - sometimes patience really is the key with these government systems. Thanks for mentioning the URL verification too - with all the phishing attempts these days, it's definitely important to make sure you're on the legitimate site. Your advice gives me hope that I'll eventually get this sorted out! 🙏

I ran into this exact issue about two weeks ago and it was so frustrating! After reading through all these helpful comments, I want to add one more thing that worked for me - sometimes CalJOBS gets stuck if you have multiple tabs open with the site. I had to close ALL browser tabs, completely exit my browser, restart it, and then try logging in with just one tab. Also, if you're on a work computer or using a shared network, that can sometimes cause issues too because of firewall restrictions. I ended up having success when I tried from my phone using mobile data instead of WiFi. The mobile version of the site actually seems to work better sometimes! Hope you get it figured out soon - this whole process is stressful enough without technical difficulties making it worse! 📱✨

•That's such a good point about multiple tabs causing issues! I'm definitely guilty of having like 10 CalJOBS tabs open when I get frustrated and keep trying different things. The mobile data vs WiFi tip is brilliant too - I never would have thought that network restrictions could be part of the problem. I'm going to try your method of completely closing everything and starting fresh with just one tab. Thanks for sharing what worked for you, it gives me a new approach to try! 🙌

I've been there with the CalJOBS login nightmare! After reading through all these great suggestions, I want to add something that saved me - check if you have any browser extensions that might be interfering, especially ad blockers or privacy extensions like uBlock Origin or Privacy Badger. I had to temporarily disable mine because they were blocking some scripts that CalJOBS needs to function properly. Also, if you're using Chrome, try going to Settings > Privacy and Security > Site Settings and make sure CalJOBS is allowed to use cookies and JavaScript. Sometimes these security settings get too restrictive and break the login process. The combination of disabling extensions + clearing cache + using the original email address (as others mentioned) finally got me back in. It's such a relief when it finally works! Keep trying different combinations of these fixes - something will click eventually! 🤞

•This is incredibly helpful! I've been struggling with this for days and never even thought about browser extensions being the culprit. I have several ad blockers and privacy extensions running, so that could definitely be interfering with the site's functionality. The Chrome settings tip is gold too - I bet a lot of people don't realize that security settings can be too restrictive for certain government sites. I'm going to work through disabling my extensions one by one and checking those site settings. Thanks for adding another piece to this puzzle! It's reassuring to know that so many people have found different solutions - gives me hope that one of these approaches will work for me too! 🙏

I've been dealing with CalJOBS login issues on and off for months now! Reading through all these suggestions is so helpful - it's crazy how many different things can cause the same problem. What worked for me was actually a combination of several fixes: I had to use my original email (not the updated one), clear my browser data, disable my ad blocker, AND wait about an hour between attempts because of those session timeout issues someone mentioned. It took like 4 different tries over 2 days, but I finally got back in! One thing I'd add that hasn't been mentioned yet - if you're using a VPN, try turning it off. CalJOBS seems to get weird about IP addresses that don't match your registered location. Also, make sure your computer's date and time are correct - I know it sounds random, but I've had login issues with other government sites when my system clock was off by even a few minutes. Don't give up! This system is definitely broken in so many ways, but with patience and trying different combinations of these fixes, you'll eventually get through. The fact that so many people here have found solutions gives me hope that there's a way around every CalJOBS glitch! 💪

•OMG thank you for mentioning the VPN thing! I've been using NordVPN this whole time and never thought it could be causing issues. The system clock tip is genius too - I would never have connected those dots. It's so frustrating that CalJOBS is this finicky about everything, but I really appreciate everyone sharing their solutions. I'm going to try your combination approach: original email + clear data + disable extensions + turn off VPN + wait between attempts. Fingers crossed one of these combos finally works! This thread has been more helpful than any official CalJOBS support page I've found. 🤞

I've been lurking in this thread for a while and wanted to share what finally worked for me after weeks of frustration! I tried almost everything mentioned here (clearing cache, different browsers, original email, disabling extensions) but what ultimately solved it was creating a completely new CalJOBS account with a different email address. I know it sounds extreme, but I was able to transfer my job search history and saved applications by contacting CalJOBS support at (916) 654-7799 (thanks to whoever shared that number earlier!). They merged my old account data into the new one within a few business days. Sometimes the account just gets corrupted beyond repair and starting fresh is the only solution. Before you go nuclear like I did though, definitely try all the other suggestions first - especially the VPN/network issues, browser extensions, and session timeout fixes. But if you've exhausted all options and still can't get in after a week or more, don't be afraid to start over. It was actually less stressful than continuing to bang my head against the wall! Good luck everyone! 🙌
