CalJobs resume upload failing & account verification needed - Help!
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble uploading my resume on CalJobs. I keep trying but it's not working and now I need account verification. Has anyone else run into this issue? I've been trying to get through to someone on the phone but keep getting transferred and sent to voicemail. It's so frustrating because my case has been approved but I still haven't received any payment. Any advice on how to get this sorted out?

Ugh, I feel your pain! The CalJobs website is a nightmare. Have you tried contacting their technical support directly? They might be able to help with the account verification and resume upload issues.

•I've been trying to reach them but no luck so far. It's like they don't want us to actually use the system 🙄

•Pro tip: try calling right when they open in the morning. Sometimes you can catch them before the lines get jammed up.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site called claimyr.com. It's a calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, and then connects you when a live agent picks up. It costs $20, but it worked for me. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/Ize0EkN4HDI

•Sounds too good to be true. Are you sure it's legit?

•I was skeptical at first too, but I can confirm it's real. Saved me hours of frustration!

•How long did you have to wait before getting connected?

•It took about 2 hours, but I didn't have to sit there listening to hold music. They called me when an agent was on the line.

Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies? Sometimes that can help with website issues. Also, make sure your resume is in the right format (usually PDF or Word doc).

The whole system is broken af 🤡 I've been dealing with this mess for months. Good luck getting anyone competent on the phone.

•Preach! 🙌 It's like they're purposely making it difficult so people just give up.

Here's what worked for me: 1. Clear your browser cache and try a different browser 2. Make sure your resume is in PDF format and under 1MB 3. If that doesn't work, try uploading from a different device (like your phone) 4. For account verification, check your email spam folder for any messages from CalJobs 5. If all else fails, you can try to reach out to your local workforce development office. They sometimes have direct lines to CalJobs support. As for the payment issue, unfortunately that's a separate problem. Keep calling and try to get a tier 2 representative. They have more authority to push payments through. Hang in there! The system is frustrating but persistence usually pays off eventually.

I'm in the same boat. Been trying to upload my resume for weeks. This system is held together with duct tape and prayers I swear.

•Duct tape and prayers 🤣 That's the most accurate description of CalJobs I've ever heard!
