CalJOBS Resume Upload Failing - Need Account Verification Help ASAP
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble uploading my resume to CalJOBS. It keeps saying I need account verification. Has anyone else run into this issue? Any tips on how to get it sorted out? I really need to get my resume up there ASAP for job hunting.

Ugh, I had the same problem last month. It's so frustrating! Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies? That worked for me after like 3 attempts.

•Oof, sorry to hear that. Yeah, their system can be a real headache sometimes. Hope OP has better luck!

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/Ize0EkN4HDI

•Sounds sketchy. Is this legit? $20 seems steep just to make a phone call.

•I get the skepticism, but it's totally legit. Saved me hours of hold time. Worth every penny IMO.

•How long did it take for them to call you back? I'm considering trying this.

•It took about 2 hours for me, but I've heard it can vary. Still way faster than trying to get through yourself.

Have you tried contacting their tech support? Sometimes theres hidden issues with your account that only they can see and fix.

Here's what worked for me: 1. Log out of your account completely 2. Clear your browser cache and cookies 3. Use a different browser (I switched from Chrome to Firefox) 4. Try uploading your resume in a different file format (PDF instead of .docx or vice versa) 5. If all else fails, create a new account with a different email Hope this helps! Let us know if you get it sorted.

•Creating a new account worked for me too! Annoying, but effective.

idk if this helps, but I had to verify my email again before I could upload anything. Check your spam folder for any verification emails from CalJOBS.

This might sound weird, but try accessing the site during off-peak hours like really early in the morning or late at night. Sometimes their servers get overloaded during business hours.

•True, but some jobs require you to apply through CalJOBS for unemployment compliance 😩

Had this exact same issue last week! What finally worked for me was logging in through the mobile site instead of desktop. For some reason the mobile version bypassed the verification loop I was stuck in. Worth a shot if you haven't tried it yet!
