Timesheet status MIA - Anyone else experiencing delays?

Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my timesheet at work. I submitted it a while ago but haven't heard anything back. Has anyone else experienced delays with their timesheets being processed? I'm getting worried about my paycheck and could use some advice on what to do next.

Ugh, I've been there before. It's so frustrating when you're waiting on your money and the system seems to be moving at a snail's pace. Have you tried reaching out to HR or your supervisor? Sometimes a gentle nudge can get things moving.

Thanks for the suggestion. I sent an email to HR yesterday but haven't heard back yet. I guess I'm just anxious about the whole situation.

Pro tip: always CC your supervisor when you email HR about pay issues. It lights a fire under their butts 🔥

Good call on emailing HR. If you don't hear back by tomorrow, I'd say it's time to start making some calls. Don't let them forget about your $$$!

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Sounds kinda sketchy. Is it legit? $20 seems steep just to make a phone call.

I was skeptical at first too, but it saved me hours of hold time. For me, it was worth it to finally get my issue resolved. Your mileage may vary tho 🤷‍♂️

I've used it before. It's legit, but yeah, $20 is a lot. Only worth it if you're really desperate imho

Have you checked your employee portal? Sometimes the status of your timesheet is updated there before anyone actually tells you anything. Might be worth a look!

This happened to me last month. Turns out there was a glitch in the system and a bunch of timesheets didn't get processed. It took about a week to sort out, but they eventually fixed it and even gave us a small bonus for the inconvenience. Hang in there!

Oh wow, that's good to know. I hope it doesn't take a week to sort out, but at least there's hope it'll get resolved. Thanks for sharing your experience!

Listen up, because I've been down this road before and I know exactly how to handle it: 1. Document everything. Write down when you submitted your timesheet, who you've contacted, and when. 2. Email your direct supervisor AND HR. In the email, clearly state the date you submitted your timesheet and express your concern about the delay. 3. If you don't hear back within 24 hours, follow up with a phone call to both parties. 4. Check your employee handbook or contract. There might be clauses about payment timelines that you can reference. 5. If all else fails, consider reaching out to your state's labor board. They take this stuff seriously. Remember, you worked those hours, and you deserve to be paid on time. Don't let them brush you off. Stay professional but firm. Good luck!

This is solid advice right here 💯

Woah, going to the labor board seems a bit extreme for a delayed timesheet, don't you think?

It's a last resort, but knowing your rights is important. Sometimes just mentioning the labor board can light a fire under HR's ass 🔥

have u tried turning it off and on again? 🤣 jk jk but srsly, sometimes the simplest solutions work. maybe try resubmitting ur timesheet?

Oof, timesheet issues are the WORST. I once had to wait an entire pay cycle to get my check because of a 'system error'. My advice? Start squeaky wheeling ASAP. The squeeky wheel gets the grease or watever 😤

Preach! 🙌 I've learned the hard way that being too patient just leads to more delays. Gotta advocate for yourself in this world.

Not to be that guy, but are you sure you submitted it correctly? Double-check that you didn't miss any required fields or approvals. I've seen people wait weeks only to realize they forgot to hit 'submit' at the end 🤦‍♂️

Ugh, you're right. I just checked and I think I might have forgotten to click the final submit button. I feel so dumb right now. Thanks for the reality check!

Hey, don't beat yourself up! We've all been there. Glad you figured it out tho!

Plot twist: what if the timesheet processor is on vacation and no one's covering for them? 🕵️‍♀️ Happened at my last job. Chaos ensued.
