Timesheet status stuck in limbo - need payday advice ASAP!

Hey everyone, I'm having some issues with my timesheet at work. I submitted it last week but haven't heard anything back about its status. Has anyone else experienced delays in timesheet processing lately? I'm getting a bit worried since payday is coming up soon and I really need that check. Any advice on how to follow up or what might be causing the holdup?

Ugh, I feel ya. My company's been having issues with the timesheet system for weeks now. Have you tried reaching out to HR or your supervisor? Sometimes a quick email can get things moving.

Thanks for the suggestion! I sent an email to my supervisor yesterday but haven't heard back yet. Guess I'll try HR next if I don't get a response soon.

Pro tip: CC your supervisor when you email HR. That way everyone's in the loop and it might speed things up 😉

This happened to me last month! Turns out there was a glitch in the system and a bunch of timesheets got stuck in limbo. Def reach out to payroll ASAP, they might not even know there's an issue.

Have you checked your spam folder? Sometimes those timesheet confirmation emails end up there. Also, make sure you actually hit submit and didn't just save a draft. I've made that mistake before lol 🤦‍♂️

Good call on the spam folder, but I already checked and nothings there. And yeah, I'm pretty sure I submitted it... but now you've got me second-guessing myself 😅

I work in HR and deal with timesheet issues all the time. Here's what you should do: 1. Double-check that you submitted the timesheet correctly. Sometimes people think they've submitted when they've only saved a draft. 2. Email your direct supervisor and ask them to verify if they've approved your timesheet. 3. If you don't hear back within 24 hours, reach out to the payroll department directly. 4. Keep a record of all your communication attempts. 5. If it's getting close to payday and still no resolution, escalate to your department head or HR manager. Remember, most companies have policies about timesheet submission deadlines. Make sure you're always submitting on time to avoid delays in the future. Good luck!

Am I the only one who thinks its ridiculous that we still have to deal with timesheet drama in 2023? Like, shouldn't this all be automated by now? 🙄

Preach! 🙌 My company just switched to a new "state-of-the-art" system and somehow it's even worse than before.

Hey guys, I know this is frustrating but I found a way to actually get someone on the phone about these issues. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Sounds interesting, but $20 just to talk to someone? Idk man, seems kinda steep.

I get it, but for me it was worth it. Spent hours trying to get through before. This saved me a ton of time and stress.
