PFL Payment Delay: Submitted Weekends But No Money Yet - Help!
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my PFL claim. I submitted my claim for the weekends I worked, but I haven't received my payment yet. Has anyone else experienced this? How long does it usually take for payments to come through? I'm getting worried because I really need this money.

Ugh, I feel you. The PFL system is such a mess rn. I submitted my claim like 3 weeks ago and still nothing. Its so frustrating!

•3 weeks? That's rough. Have you tried calling them? Sometimes that can speed things up.

•Pro tip: call right when they open. I got through after only 30 mins on hold that way!

I had a similar issue last month. Turns out there was a problem with my claim that I didn't even know about. Did you check your online account for any messages or requests for additional info?

•Thanks for the suggestion! I just checked and don't see any messages. guess I'll have to keep waiting 😞

The wait times are ridiculous these days. I found a way to actually get someone on the phone tho. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

•Sounds too good to be true. Does it really work?

•Yeah, it actually does! I was skeptical at first too, but I was desperate. Got through in about 2 hours instead of spending days trying to call myself.

•$20 just to talk to someone? That's messed up. The system is so broken 😡

•I get it, but for me it was worth it. Time is money, and I was wasting so much time trying to get through on my own.

Have you tried reaching out to your local assembly member's office? They can sometimes help speed things up with PFL claims. Worth a shot!

Okay, let me break this down for you based on my experience and what I've learned: 1. Processing time: Typically, it takes about 2 weeks for a PFL claim to be processed, but it can take up to 3-4 weeks during busy periods. 2. Check your account: Log into your PFL account and make sure all your information is correct and up to date. 3. Look for correspondence: Sometimes they need additional info but don't always call. Check your online inbox and your physical mail. 4. Calculation issues: If your claim involves multiple employers or variable hours, it might take longer to calculate. 5. Appeal process: If your claim was denied, you have 30 days to appeal. Make sure you didn't miss any deadlines. 6. Contact methods: - Phone: Try calling early in the morning or late afternoon - Email: Use their online contact form, but responses can take a while - Mail: You can send a written inquiry, but this is the slowest method 7. Document everything: Keep a log of all your attempts to contact them, including dates and times. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

lol welcome to the wonderful world of PFL where nothing makes sense and the rules are made up 🤡 but for real, hang in there. It sucks but the money will come eventually.

•Ain't that the truth 😂 Sometimes I think they just flip a coin to decide whether to pay us or not

Has anyone else noticed that the payment dates seem to be all over the place lately? I used to get paid every two weeks like clockwork, but now it's totally random.

•YES! I thought it was just me. My last payment was 3 days early, and the one before that was a week late. Makes budgeting a nightmare.

•I heard they switched to a new payment system recently. Might explain the inconsistency.

Quick question for the group: does anyone know if PFL payments are affected by holidays? I'm wondering if that might be causing some delays.

Not to be that guy, but have you double-checked that you submitted everything correctly? I once thought my payment was late, but turns out I messed up some dates on the form. Just a thought!

•No worries, it's a fair question! I've triple-checked everything and I'm pretty sure it's all correct. But maybe I'll give it another look just in case.
