PFL Payment Delay: Got 1 day benefit, but full 14-day payment missing. Anyone else?

Hey everyone, I'm having an issue with my PFL payment. I got paid for 1 day of benefits on 4/17, and I was supposed to get my next payment today for a full 14 days. But I haven't received anything yet. Has anyone else experienced delays with their PFL payments recently? I'm getting worried because I was counting on this money.

Ugh, I'm in the same boat! My payment was supposed to come through yesterday, but nothing yet. It's so frustrating when you're relying on that money to pay bills. Have you tried calling them?

I haven't called yet, but I'm thinking I might have to. Just dreading the long wait times 😩

Good luck getting through on the phone. I spent 3 hours on hold last week and still didn't get to talk to anyone. The system is a joke 🤡

Oof, that sounds awful. Maybe we should all flood their social media accounts until they respond lol

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Are you sure it's legit?

Yeah, I was skeptical at first too, but I tried it and it actually worked. Saved me hours of frustration.

$20 seems steep just to make a phone call. Shouldn't this service be free?

I get it, but for me, it was worth it to finally get my issue resolved. Time is money, you know?

Have you checked your claim status online? Sometimes there are processing delays that show up there before they notify you.

This happened to me last month. Turns out there was a glitch in their system and a bunch of payments got delayed. It took about 3 days to sort out, but I eventually got my money. Hang in there!

Thanks for sharing! That gives me some hope. Did you have to do anything to get it resolved, or did it just show up eventually?

It just showed up, but I did file a complaint online just in case. Not sure if that helped speed things up or not.

Here's what I've learned from dealing with PFL payment issues: 1. Always double-check your claim status online 2. If there's a delay, file a complaint through their website 3. Keep all your documentation handy (claim numbers, dates, etc.) 4. If you can't get through on the phone, try contacting them via social media 5. Consider reaching out to your local representative's office - they can sometimes help push things along Remember, persistence is key. Don't give up! The squeaky wheel gets the grease, as they say. 💪

Great advice! I'd add: document every interaction you have with them, including dates and names of reps you speak to.

Preach! 🙌 It's like they make it difficult on purpose or something

Totally agree. We need to push for reform. This isn't working for anyone except the bureaucrats.

Pro tip: If you're having trouble getting through on the main line, try calling right when they open in the morning. I've had better luck that way.

Have you checked your bank account details on file with them? I once had a payment delayed because my bank info was outdated.

Good idea, I'll double-check that. Thanks!
