PFL payment approved but not received yet - how long does it usually take?

Ugh, I'm in the same boat! My PFL was approved last week and still nothing in my account. It's so frustrating when you're counting on that money to come through. Have you tried calling them?

In my experience, it usually takes about 5-7 business days after approval for the payment to hit your account. But with all the delays lately, who knows? The system is so backed up its ridiculous.

Here's what I've learned from dealing with PFL payments: 1. Approval doesn't mean immediate payment. There's usually a processing period. 2. Bank holidays can delay things further. 3. Sometimes there are random audits that can hold up payments. 4. If it's been more than 10 business days, definitely try to contact them. 5. Check your claim status online if possible - sometimes there's additional info there. 6. Make sure all your banking info is correct in their system. Hang in there, OP! The system is frustrating but you'll get your money eventually.

This happened to me last year. Turns out there was a discrepancy in my paperwork that I didn't even notice. Might be worth double-checking all your docs if you can get ahold of someone.

Not to freak you out, but my coworker had her identity stolen and someone tried to redirect her PFL payments. If it's taking unusually long, might be worth checking if there's been any suspicious activity.
