PFL claim for one week not paid, no info why. Help!

Has anyone else had issues with their PFL claim not being paid? I submitted everything they asked for, including the wet signature, but one week's claim still hasn't been paid. The previous week was paid without any problems. I've tried contacting them, but I can't get any information about why this specific claim hasn't been processed. It's so frustrating!

I found a way to solve unpaid PFL claim issues, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=McpXwr2xAd8

Ugh, I feel your pain! I had a similar issue with my PFL claim last month. It's like they randomly decide which claims to process and which ones to ignore. Have you tried calling their customer service line? Sometimes you can get lucky and find a helpful agent.

I've been trying to call for days, but I can never get through. It's always busy or they hang up on me. So frustrating! 😤

Pro tip: call right when they open in the morning. That's how I finally got through after weeks of trying!

Thanks for the tip! I'll give that a shot tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed 🤞

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this service? Is it legit?

$20 just to talk to someone? That's ridiculous. The system is so broken 🤦‍♂️

I know it sounds sketchy, but I swear it worked for me. After weeks of trying to get through, I was desperate enough to try anything. It's not ideal to pay, but it saved me so much time and stress.

I've used it too. It's legit. Saved me hours of hold time and frustration.

Here's what I've learned from dealing with PFL claims for the past year: 1. Always keep copies of EVERYTHING you submit. 2. Follow up weekly if you don't hear back. 3. If possible, fax your documents instead of mailing them. It's faster and you get a confirmation. 4. Be persistent but polite when calling. The agents are usually trying their best. 5. If all else fails, contact your local state representative. They can sometimes help push things through. Hope this helps! Hang in there, OP. The system is a mess, but you'll get your money eventually.

Wow, thank you so much for this detailed advice! I'll definitely try faxing my documents next time. And I hadn't even thought about contacting my state rep. You're a lifesaver! 🙏

This is gold 💯 Saving this comment for future reference!

have you checked your online account? sometimes they update the status there before they actually process the payment. might give you a clue about whats going on

I'm in the same boat, OP. Been waiting on a payment for 3 weeks now. This whole system is a joke. We need to tow the line and demand better service!

I think you mean "toe the line" lol. But yeah, agreed. The system is totally broken.

Oops, you're right 😅 Guess I struck out on that idiom. But my point still stands!

Quick question - did you submit your claim online or by mail? I've heard the online system has been glitchy lately.

I submitted online. Maybe that's the problem? But then why did the first week go through fine? It's so confusing!

Hmm, that is weird. Maybe try submitting a paper claim for the missing week? Cant hurt to try both ways

tldr; PFL is a mess, water is wet. 🤷‍♂️

Lol, sad but true 😂
