PFL Application Status - No Updates After Applying. What to Do?

Hey everyone, I applied for PFL a few days ago and I'm trying to find out the status of my application. Has anyone else had trouble getting updates on their PFL application? I haven't heard anything back yet and I'm starting to get worried. Any advice on what I should do or who I should contact?

I found a way to solve PFL application status delays, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jtD9fcJhViA

I'm in the same boat! Applied for PFL last week and crickets so far. It's so frustrating not knowing what's going on. Have you tried calling them?

Not yet, I've been dreading the long wait times. But I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and give them a call tomorrow. 😩

Good luck with that call! Last time I tried, I was on hold for 3 hours and then got disconnected. 🤬 The system is a joke.

Ugh, that sucks! Maybe try calling right when they open? I've heard that can help sometimes.

Pro tip: When you do get through, ask them to confirm they've received your application and what the current processing time is. Sometimes they can give you a rough estimate of when you might hear back.

I found a way to get someone on the phone without the crazy wait times. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit? Anyone else tried it?

$20 just to talk to someone? That's ridiculous. The system is so broken 🤦‍♂️

I know it sounds sketchy, but I swear it worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration. But yeah, it sucks we have to pay extra just to get basic info about our claims.

Here's what I've learned from my experience with PFL applications: • Processing times can vary wildly depending on their workload • Make sure you've submitted ALL required documents • Keep copies of everything you send them • If you haven't heard back in 2 weeks, definitely give them a call • Be persistent but polite when you do get through • Sometimes reaching out to your local representative can help speed things up Hang in there, OP! The waiting game is tough, but you'll get through it.

Thank you so much for this detailed advice! I'll definitely double-check all my documents and give them a call if I don't hear back soon.

Plot twist: what if the PFL office is actually run by sloths? 🦥 That would explain the speed of processing lmao

🤣🤣🤣 I'm dead. But also... it tracks

Nah, sloths would be an improvement. I think it's actually a room full of broken fax machines from 1995.
