EDD not paying after submitting binding time docs - need supervisor?

Hey everyone, I'm having an issue with my unemployment claim. I submitted all the supporting documents for my binding time, but I still haven't been paid. It's been a while now and I'm getting worried. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm thinking about asking to speak with a supervisor, but I'm not sure if that's the right move. Any advice would be appreciated!

Ugh, I feel your pain! I went through something similar last month. Have you tried calling the EDD office? It's a pain to get through, but sometimes that's the only way to get answers.

I've been trying to call, but it's impossible to get through. Always busy or they hang up on me 😤

Pro tip: call right when they open. I got through after only 30 minutes on hold that way!

lol good luck with that. i've been trying for weeks and nada 🤡

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Check out this video for more info: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Sounds too good to be true. Does it really work?

Yeah, it actually does! I was skeptical at first too, but I was desperate. Got through in about 2 hours.

$20 just to make a phone call? The system is so broken 🤮

I know it sucks to pay, but for me it was worth it to finally get my issue resolved. Saved me days of frustration.

Here's what you need to do: 1. Double-check all your documents are correct and properly uploaded 2. Keep a log of all your attempts to contact EDD 3. If possible, try to find your state representative and reach out to their office 4. Be persistent! Don't give up 5. Consider using one of those paid services to get through on the phone if you're really stuck I've been through this rodeo before, and it's a pain, but you'll get there. The system is overloaded, so patience is key. Good luck!

Speaking to a supervisor might help, but getting to one is like finding a unicorn 🦄 Took me 3 weeks of calling to finally reach someone who could actually help.
