ESD Claim stuck in adjudication for 4 weeks - no updates or payments. What to do?
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my unemployment claim. It's been in adjudication for a while now and I'm not sure why. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm worried because I haven't received any updates or payments yet. It's been about 4 weeks since I filed. Should I be concerned? Any advice on what to do next would be really appreciated!

Ugh, adjudication is the worst! I've been there too. It usually happens when they need to verify something about your claim. Have you gotten any letters or emails asking for more info?

•Don't panic! Sometimes they don't send anything. But it might be worth checking your spam folder just in case. Also, log into your account on the unemployment website to see if there are any messages or tasks there.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/7DieNd3C7zQ

•I get it, but for me it was worth it to finally get answers. Plus, I was losing more money waiting for my claim to go through.

Listen up, because I've been through this rodeo before. Here's what you need to know about adjudication: • It's a review process where they double-check your eligibility • Common reasons: identity verification, employment history discrepancies, or questions about your job separation • Can take anywhere from 2-8 weeks (sometimes longer in busy periods) • You should still file your weekly claims during this time What you can do: 1. Check your online account for any pending tasks or messages 2. Look through your mail and email (including spam) for any requests from ESD 3. If you find nothing, try calling them - be persistent! 4. Consider contacting your local state representative for help Remember, the system is overloaded, so patience is key. But don't just sit back - be proactive! Good luck!

•It sucks, but hang in there. Have you tried reaching out to your local rep? Sometimes they can help speed things up.

Pro tip: document EVERYTHING. Every call, every letter, every email. You never know when you might need to prove you've been trying to resolve this.

Anyone else feel like they're playing unemployment bingo? I've got 'stuck in adjudication' and 'can't reach a human on the phone' - what squares are you all missing? 😅

•I've got 'website crashes every time I try to certify' and 'received conflicting info from two different reps' 🎉
