EDD claim processed but no payment received - help!
Hey everyone, I'm having an issue with my unemployment claim. It says it's processed with a weekly benefit amount, but I still haven't received any money. Has anyone else experienced this? It's been stuck like this for a while now and I'm getting worried. Any advice on what to do next?

Ugh, I'm in the same boat. It's so frustrating! Mine has been 'processed' for like 2 weeks now and still nothing in my account. The EDD website is useless and I can't get through on the phone. Anyone know if there's a delay or something?

•2 weeks? Amateur hour over here 🙄 Try 2 months! The system is completely broken

•Have you tried calling early in the morning? I heard that's the best time to get through

•Yeah, I've tried calling at all hours. No luck. It's like they don't want us to reach them 🤬

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site called claimyr.com. It's a calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, and then connects you when a live agent picks up. It costs $20, but it worked for me. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

•Sounds sketchy. Is it legit?

•Yeah, it's totally legit. I was skeptical too, but I was desperate. It actually worked and I finally got my issue resolved.

•20 bucks to talk to someone? That's highway robbery! 😤

•I get it, but for me it was worth it. Beats wasting hours on hold or not getting through at all.

Here's what you need to do: 1. Check your UI Online account for any pending certifications or requests for additional information. Sometimes they need more data before releasing funds. 2. Make sure your payment method is set up correctly. If you chose direct deposit, double-check your bank info. 3. Look for any disqualification notices. Sometimes they approve you but then find an issue that stops payment. 4. If everything looks good on your end, you'll need to contact EDD. Try calling right when they open or just before closing time. 5. If you can't get through, send a secure message through your UI Online account. Be specific about your issue. 6. As a last resort, contact your local assembly member's office. They can sometimes help push things through. Hang in there! The system is overwhelmed, but keep at it and you'll get your benefits eventually.

I had this exact problem last month. Turns out there was an identity verification issue that I didn't know about. Check your spam folder for any emails from EDD. They might have sent you something important that got filtered out.

Pro tip: if you're having trouble getting through on the phone, try calling the employer line instead. Sometimes they'll help claimants too, and it's usually less busy.

I had a similar issue a few months back - turned out my bank had changed their routing number and I never updated it in my EDD account. The payments were getting rejected and just sitting there. Check with your bank to make sure all the account info is still correct. Also, if you recently moved or changed banks, that could be causing delays. Hope this helps!

•This is really helpful! I never thought about the bank routing number changing. I've been with the same bank for years but you're right, they could have updated their systems. Definitely going to call them tomorrow to double-check everything is still accurate. Thanks for sharing your experience!

I'm going through the exact same thing right now! My claim has been showing "processed" for about 10 days but no payment has hit my account yet. I've been checking multiple times a day and it's driving me crazy. I tried calling but like everyone else here, I can't get through. The automated system just keeps saying "high call volume" and hangs up on me. It's so stressful when you're counting on these benefits to pay rent and bills. Has anyone had success with the secure messaging system through the UI Online portal? I'm thinking of trying that next since the phone seems impossible.

•I feel your pain! I'm dealing with the same exact situation - claim shows processed but no money in sight. The stress is real when bills are due. I actually tried the secure messaging system last week and got a response after about 3-4 days, but it was just a generic "we're experiencing delays" message. Still, it might be worth a shot since calling is basically impossible. Also, someone earlier mentioned checking spam folders for ID verification emails - might be worth doing that too just in case there's something you missed. Hang in there, hopefully we'll all get our payments soon! 🤞

I'm dealing with this exact same issue right now! My claim has been showing "processed" for over 3 weeks but still no payment. I've tried everything - calling at different times, checking my account info, looking through emails including spam folder. The whole system seems completely broken. What's really frustrating is that I can see my weekly benefit amount is approved, but the money just never shows up. I'm starting to wonder if there's some kind of technical glitch on their end that's affecting a bunch of us. Has anyone who experienced this delay actually gotten their back payments once it was finally resolved? I'm worried they might only pay from when they fix the issue forward, not the weeks that were already "processed" but never paid.
