EDD claim processed but no payment date set - anyone else?

Ugh, I'm in the same boat. Been waiting for weeks with no payment date. It's like they're dangling a carrot in front of us 🥕

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. Used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Here's what I've learned from dealing with this for months: 1. The "processed" status doesn't mean much. It's just the first step. 2. Payment dates usually show up 1-3 days before you actually get paid. 3. If you see benefit amounts, that's a good sign. It means your claim is approved. 4. Keep certifying every two weeks, even if you're not seeing payments yet. 5. Check your spam folder for emails from EDD. 6. If it's been more than 3 weeks since you filed, definitely try to call. have you checked ur account for any pending questions or certifications? sometimes they need more info b4 setting a payment date

THIS SYSTEM IS BROKEN AF 🤬 We shouldn't have to jump through hoops to get what we're entitled to!

Has anyone tried reaching out to their local representative? I've heard that can sometimes help move things along.

Same exact situation here! Filed about 2 weeks ago, got the "processed" status last Friday, but still no payment date. It's driving me crazy refreshing the page every few hours hoping something changes. At least seeing the benefit amounts calculated gives me some hope that it's moving forward.
