EDD PFL payment deposit date not showing online - help!
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble figuring out when my EDD Paid Family Leave payment will be deposited. I checked online but there's no date showing up. Has anyone else dealt with this? How long did it take for you to see a deposit date after filing your claim?

I was in the same boat a few months ago. It's super frustrating when you can't see the deposit date! Have you tried calling them? Sometimes the online system doesn't update as quickly as the info they have over the phone.

ā¢Ugh, I've been trying to call but can never get through. It's like impossible to reach a human there š«

ā¢Pro tip: call right when they open. I got through after only 20 minutes on hold that way!

In my experience, it took about 2 weeks after filing to see the deposit date online. But I've heard it can vary. When did you file your claim?

ā¢I filed about 10 days ago. Guess I'll keep checking and hope it shows up soon. Thanks for the info!

The EDD system is such a mess rn. I swear they're running it on Windows 95 or something 𤔠Good luck getting any info from them!

Hey, I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

ā¢Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit?

ā¢Yeah, it's totally legit! I was skeptical at first too, but it saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo.

ā¢How long did it take for them to get through?

ā¢It took about an hour and a half, but I didn't have to sit there listening to hold music. They just called me when an agent was on the line.

Here's what I know about EDD Paid Family Leave payments: ⢠After you file your claim, it typically takes about 14 days for processing ⢠Once processed, you should see a deposit date online ⢠If you don't see a date after 2 weeks, there might be an issue with your claim ⢠Common problems include incomplete information or need for additional verification ⢠You can try to contact EDD through their online portal for updates ⢠If you can't get through on the phone, consider using their virtual assistant on the website ⢠Keep all your claim documents handy in case they request more info Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

ā¢Wow, thanks for all the detailed info! This is really helpful. I'll give it a few more days and then try contacting them if I still don't see anything.

I'm telling you, the whole system is rigged. They make it impossible to get your money on purpose. Wake up sheeple! š

ā¢Oh come on, take off the tinfoil hat. It's just an outdated system with too many people trying to use it.

I went through this exact same thing last month! The online portal can be really glitchy about showing deposit dates. What worked for me was logging out completely, clearing my browser cache, and then logging back in. Sometimes it's just a display issue on their end. Also, double-check that your direct deposit info is correct in your profile - I had a friend whose payment was delayed because they had an old bank account number on file. If it's been more than 2 weeks since you filed and still nothing shows up, definitely try the phone route even though it's a pain. Hang in there!
