EDD Account Login Issues: Password Reset Email Never Arrived for Family Leave Claim
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble accessing my EDD account for family leave. I requested a password reset email but it's been over 30 minutes and I still haven't received anything. Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips on how to get back into my account?

Ugh, I feel your pain! The EDD system is such a nightmare sometimes. Have you checked your spam folder? Sometimes those reset emails end up there.

•Thanks for the suggestion! I just checked my spam folder and it's not there either. This is so frustrating 😤

•Maybe try requesting another reset email? Sometimes the system glitches and doesn't send it the first time.

•Good idea, I'll give that a shot. Fingers crossed it works this time! 🤞

I had the same issue last month. Turns out my email address was slightly off in their system. Try calling them to verify your contact info is correct.

Pro tip: I found a way to actually get someone on the phone at EDD. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

•I get the skepticism, but it seriously saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo

•How long did you have to wait once they started calling?

•It took about 45 minutes for me, but way better than being stuck on hold all day!

Have you tried logging in using a different browser? Sometimes clearing your cache and cookies can help too.

The EDD system is such a joke. I've been dealing with account issues for weeks now. They really need to upgrade their tech 🙄

Here's what I've learned from dealing with EDD account issues: 1. Double-check your email address is correct in their system 2. Use a desktop computer instead of mobile if possible 3. Try different browsers (Chrome seems to work best) 4. Clear your browser cache and cookies 5. If all else fails, call them directly (early morning is best) 6. Be persistent! Sometimes it takes a few tries Hope this helps, OP! Don't give up, you'll get it sorted eventually.

Have you tried contacting them through social media? Sometimes their Twitter support is more responsive than other channels.
