EDD payments stopped since 11/15 - Recertified but still no money. Help!
I filed an unemployment claim back in May and haven't received any payments since November 15th. I sent in my recertification last week, but still no money. Anyone else dealing with this? It's been over a month now and I'm getting worried.

Ugh, I'm in the same boat. Filed in June, payments stopped in December. It's like they just forget about us 🤷♂️

•Have you tried calling them? Sometimes you gotta be persistent

•Pro tip: call right when they open. I got through after only 30 minutes on hold that way

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

•Sounds too good to be true. Does it really work?

•Yeah, it actually does! I was skeptical at first too, but I got through in about an hour

•$20 tho? That's kinda steep when were already broke 😬

•I get it, but for me it was worth it to finally get my issue resolved. Beats wasting hours trying to call myself

Have you checked your UI Online account? Sometimes there's a flag on your account that needs to be cleared. might explain the delay

This is ridiculous. The EDD is a joke. How are we supposed to survive when they can't even do their job? 🤬

OK, let me break this down for you: 1. First, check your UI Online account for any pending issues or required actions. 2. If nothing there, you need to contact EDD directly. Try calling early in the morning or late afternoon. 3. If you can't get through, consider using an auto-dialer service (some people mentioned one in the comments). 4. Send a message through your UI Online account explaining the situation. 5. If all else fails, contact your local state representative. They can sometimes intervene on your behalf. Remember, persistence is key. Don't give up! The system is overwhelmed, but you'll get your money eventually.

Have you tried faxing your documents? I know it sounds old school, but it worked for me when I had a similar issue last year
