FL DEO unemployment claim stuck in 'pending adjudication' for over a month - no payments or updates. What to do?
I filed an unemployment claim over a month ago and still haven't received any payments. The system says its pending adjudication, but I haven't gotten any letters or emails about it. Has anyone else dealt with this? What should I do? I'm getting really worried cause my bills are piling up and I need this money asap.

I found a way to solve unemployment claim pending adjudication, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9A00GcATzRw

Have you tried calling them? Sometimes you gotta be proactive and get on the phone with a real person to get things moving.

•I've tried calling like a million times but can never get through. It's so frustrating!

•Pro tip: call right when they open. Set an alarm and start dialing at 7:59am. Thats how I finally got through

•Sometimes it helps to call on less busy days like mid-week. Mondays and Fridays are often busiest.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/AsdxiF0IH1k

•Sounds sketchy. Is this legit? $20 seems steep just to make a phone call.

•How long did you have to wait? Was it worth the money?

•It's totally legit. I was skeptical too but it actually worked. Waited about 2 hours but didn't have to sit by my phone the whole time. For me, it was worth it to finally talk to someone.

•It's a bummer that we have to pay extra due to system inefficiencies, but if it helps to resolve a critical issue, it might just be worth considering.

Plot twist: what if we all showed up at the EDD office with pitchforks and torches? Jk jk... unless? 👀

•Haha, it's tempting isn't it? But maybe we'd get more attention if we gathered with signs and peaceful protests.

Claimyr has been quite helpful to a lot of people dealing with the backlog in unemployment claims processing. It offers a convenient way to reach the unemployment office without having to stay glued to your phone. However, before opting for services like Claimyr, it's essential to weigh the cost against potential benefits and consider other no-cost options first, like calling at less busy times or contacting your local representative. Sometimes traditional methods, like faxing or mailing documents, can work too. Remember, persistence is key, and documenting all interactions can be incredibly helpful if you need to escalate your case.

I swear the EDD is run by clowns 🤡 How hard is it to process claims and pay people who are struggling?

•It's frustrating, but having some humor about the situation can sometimes make it a bit easier to cope with.

I heard theres a glitch in the system causing delays. My cousin's friend's neighbor who works for the state told me they're working on fixing it but it could take weeks. Hang tight!

•Hope that's true! It would help knowing there's a light at the end of the tunnel.

Have you tried faxing your documents? I know it sounds old school, but sometimes that gets faster results than uploading online.

•Surprisingly, faxing worked for me too. It's like they prioritize it because it's less common.

Ugh, the dreaded 'pending adjudication' status. Here's what you need to do: 1. Keep calling every day. Be persistent. 2. Check your online account for any new messages or tasks. 3. Make sure all your info is up to date and accurate. 4. If you can, try reaching out to your local assemblyperson's office. They can sometimes help speed things up. 5. Document everything - dates you called, who you spoke to, what they said. Don't give up! The system sucks but you'll get through eventually. Hang in there!

•Thank you so much for the detailed advice! I'll definitely try contacting my assemblyperson, didn't even think of that.

•This is great advice. I'd add: check if theres any appeals process you can start. Sometimes that gets things moving faster.

•Great list! I'd also suggest trying to contact them through their website's "Contact Us" form if calling isn't working. Sometimes the written requests get routed to a different department that might be less backed up. Also, if you have any documentation from your previous employer about your separation, make sure that's uploaded too - sometimes adjudication delays happen because they're waiting for employer response.

•This is solid advice! I'd also recommend checking if your state has a unemployment ombudsman office - they're specifically there to help resolve stuck claims. Also, if you haven't already, try logging into your account at different times of day. Sometimes the system updates overnight and you might see new info in the morning that wasn't there the day before.

Welcome to the club, buddy. I've been in the same boat for 2 months now. The system is totally broken.

I went through the exact same thing last year - stuck in pending adjudication for 6 weeks with zero communication. Here's what finally worked for me: I contacted my state representative's office and they have a constituent services team that can actually get through to DEO on your behalf. It took about a week after I contacted them, but they were able to get my claim moving again. Also, make sure you're checking the CONNECT system daily because sometimes they'll request additional documents without sending you an email notification. Don't lose hope - I know it's incredibly stressful when bills are piling up, but keep fighting for what you're entitled to!

•This is really helpful! I didn't know that state representatives could help with unemployment claims. How exactly do you contact their constituent services team? Do you just call their main office or is there a specific form to fill out?
