EDD Continued Claim Certification missing from inbox - Help!
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my unemployment claim. The system is telling me to submit the Continued Claim Certification, but I can't find it anywhere in my inbox. Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas on what I should do? I'm getting worried about missing my certification deadline.

Ugh, classic EDD nonsense. 🙄 I've been there before. Have you tried logging out and back in? Sometimes the system glitches and doesn't show everything.

•Yeah, I've tried that a few times. No luck so far. It's so frustrating!

•Maybe try clearing your browser cache too. That worked for me once when I couldnt see my stuff.

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

•Sounds sketchy. Is this legit? $20 seems steep just to make a phone call.

•I get the skepticism, but it's totally legit. Saved me hours of frustration. The $20 was worth it to actually talk to someone and get my issue resolved.

•How long did you have to wait after using the service?

•Not long at all. Maybe 30 minutes? Way better than the hours I spent trying to get through on my own.

Here's what you need to do: 1. Check your spam folder. Sometimes EDD emails end up there. 2. Look under the 'History' tab on your EDD account. Old certifications might be there. 3. If you still can't find it, call EDD directly. Be prepared to wait on hold for a while. 4. While waiting, gather all your employment info for the weeks you need to certify. 5. If you can't get through, try calling right when they open or just before closing. 6. As a last resort, you can try to submit a written certification by mail. Remember, missing a certification can mess up your claim, so don't give up! Keep trying until you get it sorted out.

•This is great advice. I'd add: document EVERYTHING. Every call, email, letter. It might come in handy later.

I swear, dealing with EDD is like playing a game where the rules keep changing and no one tells you. 🤡 Good luck, OP!

•Lol for real tho. EDD should come with a user manual and a therapist 😂

This happened to me last month. Turns out my claim had expired and I needed to file a new one. Might be worth checking if that's your situation too.

•Oh man, I didn't even think of that. How do I check if my claim has expired?

•Log into your UI Online account and look for your claim status. It should show the start and end dates. If it's ended, you'll need to file a new claim.
