EDD Certification Issues - Can't Resolve, Trying Again Today. Any Tips?
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble certifying for my unemployment benefits. I tried yesterday but couldn't get it resolved. Anyone else experiencing issues or have any advice on what to do? I'm planning to try again today but feeling pretty frustrated.

Ugh, I feel your pain. The certification process has been a nightmare lately. Have you tried calling the EDD? Sometimes talking to a rep can help sort things out.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

•Sure! You just enter your phone # on their site, pay, and they start calling EDD. When an agent picks up, they connect you. No guarantee, but it worked for me first try.

Have you checked your UI Online account? Sometimes there are messages or alerts that explain why you can't certify. Might save you a phone call.

I've been dealing with similar certification issues for the past few weeks. One thing that helped me was using a different browser - I was having problems with Chrome but it worked fine in Firefox. Also, make sure you're not using any browser extensions or ad blockers that might interfere with the site. The EDD website is pretty finicky about that stuff. Good luck today!
