Weekly claim still showing 'processing' for 3 days - normal ESD timeframe?

I filed my weekly claim early Sunday morning (around 8am) and it's now Wednesday afternoon and my status still shows 'processing' in the ESD portal. Usually I get paid by Tuesday afternoon, but nothing has hit my bank account yet. Is anyone else experiencing delays this week? I'm getting a bit nervous since I've got rent due on Friday and was counting on this payment. Is this normal or should I be trying to contact ESD? I haven't received any notifications about issues with my claim.

This happens sometimes. The system gets backed up especially at the beginning of the month when theres more claims. Mine was processing for 4 days last month but then went thru fine. I wouldn't panic yet, give it another day before you try calling.

There's likely nothing wrong with your claim, but ESD sometimes has processing delays. This week there was a minor system update that might have slowed things down. If your previous claims were processed without issues, this one should be fine too. If it doesn't change by tomorrow, then it might be worth trying to contact them. Your claim might just be in a verification queue which happens randomly.

They don't pay interest on delayed payments, unfortunately. The payment date is considered the date it's processed, not the date you filed the weekly claim.

I'VE BEEN DEALING WITH THIS FOR WEEKS!!! My claims ALWAYS say "processing" for at least 3-4 days now. It used to be next-day but ever since they "upgraded" their system everything takes FOREVER. And good luck calling them - you'll be on hold for 5 hours then get disconnected!!!! This is how they save money - delay payments hoping people give up. RIDICULOUS.

This happened to me last month and I almost had a heart attack but then it just randomly showed up on Thursday morning! The ESD website still said processing but the money was in my account. Maybe check your bank directly?

When i had this problem before i checked my notices section in eServices and there was actually an issue they needed info on but they never emailed me about it. Might be worth checking there too just to make sure.

Mine finally processed this morning! Filed Sunday, showed up Thursday. So you might get yours tomorrow. They seem really backed up this week for some reason.
