Missing ESD payment for week ending 4/22/25 - anyone else affected?
So I filed my weekly claim last Sunday like normal (for the week ending 4/22) and it's already Thursday and still nothing in my account. Normally the money hits Tuesday latest. My claim status still says 'paid' on the ESD website but the funds haven't shown up in my bank account. Started to get worried since I've got rent coming up. Anyone else experiencing delays with their payments this week? Or is it just me having this problem?

I'm having the exact same issue! My payment status shows 'paid' since Monday, but nothing in my bank account yet. I called ESD about 25 times yesterday and couldn't get through to anyone. So frustrating when you're counting on that money.

•Ugh that makes me feel slightly better that I'm not alone but also worse that something might be wrong with the system. Did you try messaging them through eServices? I sent a message yesterday but no response yet.

This happens sometimes. I've been on unemployment since January and had a 3-day delay back in February. ESD probably has some processing backlog or technical issue they're not telling us about. If your status shows 'paid' it should eventually arrive.

If you're seeing 'paid' in your ESD account, that's a good sign. The delay is likely between ESD and your bank. A few possibilities: 1. ESD might be experiencing a processing delay with ACH transfers 2. Your bank might be holding the deposit for 1-2 additional business days 3. There could have been a batch processing error affecting multiple claimants If your payment doesn't arrive by tomorrow (Friday), I'd recommend trying to contact ESD directly. Their phone lines are usually overwhelmed, so be prepared to call right when they open at 8:00 AM.

After having similar issues last year, I found using Claimyr (claimyr.com) was the only way I could actually reach someone at ESD. They got me connected to an agent in about 20 minutes when I'd been trying for days on my own. •I used it last month when my claim went into adjudication for no reason. Worked exactly as advertised - got through to a real person in about 25 minutes after trying for DAYS on my own. The agent fixed my issue right away. Definitely recommend if you can't get through the normal channels.

UPDATE: Just got my payment! It was 2 days late but finally showed up. Check your accounts everyone - maybe they're processing a backlog today.

This happens EVERY TIME they do system maintenance on their website!! I swear ESD does this on purpose to mess with us. Last time they did updates I didn't get paid for almost a week beyond normal. Their whole system is garbage and they don't care that people depend on this money for FOOD and RENT. So sick of this!!!

•While frustrating, I don't think they're doing it on purpose. Government systems are just notoriously outdated. Remember how overwhelmed they were during the pandemic? They're still catching up. At least most people are reporting their payments are coming through now, just delayed.
