Is there a delay unemployment benefits this week with Washington ESD payments?

Glad I'm not the only one. Was worried my claim got flagged for something.

Occasionally, especially during high volume periods or system updates. Your benefits are still there, just delayed in processing.

About 2 days total. Got it on Thursday instead of Tuesday.

I've been filing the same way for months. Nothing changed in my answers.

The work search requirements are pretty straightforward. You need 3 job contacts per week unless you're on standby.

If there was an adjudication issue it would be clearly marked in your account. This sounds like a simple processing delay.

Yeah, you give them your info and they basically call Washington ESD for you and connect you when they get through. Way better than sitting on hold for hours.

Washington ESD should really send out notifications when there are known delays. Would save everyone a lot of stress.

About 15 minutes total. Way better than the 3 hours I spent trying to call on my own yesterday.
