TWC unemployment on hold - system issues? Need advice!
My unemployment is on hold and I think there's a problem with the TWC system. Has anyone else experienced this? I tried calling but can't get through to a live agent. It's frustrating because I need this money and don't know why it's being held up. Any advice on how to get this resolved?

Ugh, I'm in the same boat. Been trying to reach TWC for weeks now. Their phone system is a joke. I swear they're doing this on purpose to avoid paying us 🤬

•Preach! 👏 I've been calling non-stop for days. It's like they're playing hide and seek with our benefits.

•Guys, lets not assume malice. The system is probably just overwhelmed. Still sucks tho 😕

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/V-IMvH88P1U

•Sounds too good to be true. Are you sure it's legit?

•20 bucks? That's steep for something that should be free. 😒

•I get the skepticism, but it seriously worked for me. Worth every penny to finally get my issue resolved. Just sharing what helped me 🤷♂️

Have you tried reaching out to your local state representative? Sometimes they can help push things through faster.

I work in IT, and let me tell you, government systems are notoriously outdated. It's likely a combination of old tech and high volume causing these issues. Here's what I suggest: 1. Keep detailed records of all your attempts to contact TWC 2. Use the online portal if possible, it might be more reliable than phone 3. Try calling at off-peak hours (very early morning or late evening) 4. If all else fails, consider contacting your local ombudsman Hang in there, OP. The system is frustrating, but persistence usually pays off.

•This is really helpful, thanks! Do you know if there's a best day of the week to try calling?

•In my experience, Wednesdays tend to be less busy. Mondays and Fridays are usually the worst. Good luck!

Hey OP, sorry youre dealing with this. Quick question - did you receive any letters or emails from TWC about your claim being on hold? Sometimes they need additional info but the notice gets lost in the mail.

•Thanks for asking. I haven't received anything in the mail, that's part of why I'm so confused. I'll double check my spam folder tho, good idea!

Pro tip: if you're gonna call TWC, use a landline if possible. Cell signals can drop and then you're back to square one after hours of waiting 😫

This might sound crazy, but has anyone tried faxing TWC? I did this as a last resort and surprisingly got a response within a week. Worth a shot if you're desperate!

Guys, I just saw on the news that TWC is upgrading their systems next week. Might cause more delays, but hopefully it'll make things better in the long run. Hang tight!
