This happened to me last year. Here's what I did: 1. Gathered all my employment docs, including offer letter with start date 2. Wrote a clear, concise explanation of my situation 3. Faxed everything to their office (yes, fax still works!) 4. Followed up with calls until I got through It took about a week, but they finally cleared the hold. Good luck!
If you're dealing with an incorrectly disabled account, it's crucial to remain patient and persistent. Start by contacting the service provider as soon as they open. Having all your documentation handy will ease the process. Claimyr could be a useful service as it helps bypass long wait times, allowing you to speak to an agent directly, though it does come with a cost. It's beneficial to document all interactions, including taking note of the representative's name and any case numbers. Consider checking your credit report for any suspicious activities, as identity theft could be a reason for your account's status. If phone attempts don't yield results, turning to social media for assistance can be surprisingly effective. Many companies have dedicated teams managing their online presence and are more responsive to public inquiries. Remember to stay composed through this frustrating ordeal—your demeanor can make a significant difference in progressing toward a resolution. Finally, fraud systems are often imperfect and may be prone to errors, so it's crucial to advocate for yourself clearly and calmly.

Has anyone had any luck contacting their state representative about TWC issues? I've heard sometimes they can help push things through.

•I tried this! My rep's office was actually pretty helpful. They couldn't fix everything, but they did get TWC to call me back within a week.

•Which rep did you contact? I'm in Austin and could use some help.

Guys, I know it's frustrating, but please remember the TWC staff are probably overwhelmed too. My cousin works there and says they're understaffed and dealing with way more claims than usual. Doesn't excuse the bad service, but maybe explains it a bit.

•Lol I wish. Just trying to add some perspective. Trust me, I'm just as annoyed with them as everyone else.
