TWC online portal error code P-19482 when requesting payment - anyone know a fix?

I'm getting this weird error message when trying to request my payment on the TWC website. It shows 'Error P-19482: Unable to process request at this time' after I enter my work search activities. I've tried logging out, clearing cache, even using a different browser but nothing works. I'm supposed to submit by tomorrow before midnight or I'll miss this payment cycle. Anyone else run into this? I'm worried because my benefits are about to hit the 8-week mark and I can't afford to miss a payment right now.

This is a known issue that happens when the TWC system is updating or experiencing high traffic. The P-19482 error usually means there's a temporary connection issue between your session and their database. Try these steps: 1. Wait at least 3 hours before trying again (sometimes their server maintenance runs longer than expected) 2. Make sure you're using Chrome or Firefox (some people reported Edge causes this error) 3. Try requesting payment through Tele-Serv (800-558-8321) instead of the website If none of that works, you actually have until 11:59pm on the last day of your request period, not just tomorrow. The payment cycle gives you a few days of buffer.

Thank you so much! I'll try Tele-Serv right now. I didn't realize I could still use the phone system. Really appreciate the help!

I ran into this STUPID error twice last month!!! The TWC website is GARBAGE and they know it!!! I got so frustrated that I spent 2 hours calling and calling until I got disconnected 3 times in a row. Their whole department should be FIRED for how they treat people who just want their benefits!!!!!

I experienced that exact error code when filing last week. I tried for days to get through to TWC with no luck - constant busy signals and disconnects. I finally used Claimyr (claimyr.com) which got me through to a TWC agent in about 20 minutes. The agent was able to reset something on my account and I could request payment right after. They have a video demo showing how it works: https://youtu.be/V-IMvH88P1U?si=kNxmh025COIlIzKh. Definitely saved me from missing my payment.

That's really helpful, thanks! Just to be clear - did they fix it permanently or just process your payment request that one time?

They fixed my account, not just a one-time thing. The agent said the error happens when your work search activities don't sync properly with your profile. Once they reset it on their end, I haven't had any problems since.

This error is usually related to incomplete information in your work search documentation. Double check that you've included all required fields for each work search activity: - Date of contact - Employer name AND address (both are required) - Method of contact (in person, phone, online) - Type of work sought - Person contacted (name or "hiring manager" if unknown) - Result of contact If any of these are missing or formatted incorrectly, you'll get the P-19482 error. Also, make sure you're not using special characters like &, #, or / in your text entries.

Ah! I think I see the problem. I left the address field blank for a couple of online applications since I only had the website URL. I'll try again with the company's HQ address. Thank you!

UPDATE: Problem solved! It was actually a combination of issues. I followed the advice about the work search documentation fields AND used Tele-Serv. The phone system worked when the website wouldn't. For anyone else with this error, make sure you complete ALL fields in the work search section and try the phone if website still gives errors. Thanks everyone for your help!

Great! Glad you got it resolved. For future reference, always keep a backup plan for your payment requests. I usually set a reminder 2-3 days before the deadline so I have time to troubleshoot if something goes wrong.
