TWC login issues & payment problems - can't access account or documents. Help!

Hey everyone, I'm having a really frustrating issue with my unemployment benefits. I can't log into the system at all, and there's some problem with my payment that I can't figure out because I'm locked out. Has anyone else dealt with this? I'm getting worried because I need to access some important documents and info. Any advice on how to get back in or what might be causing the payment issue?

I found a way to solve unemployment login and payment issues, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m5MCbMm3J7w

Ugh, I feel your pain! I was locked out for weeks and it was a nightmare. Have you tried resetting your password? Sometimes the system glitches and you need to do a full reset.

0 coins

Yeah, I've tried that a few times but no luck. It's like my account doesn't even exist anymore 😫

Same thing happened to me! Turns out my account got flagged for "suspicious activity" (aka their system messed up). You might need to call and verify your identity.

Oh great, another thing to deal with. Thanks for the tip tho, I'll give it a shot!

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/V-IMvH88P1U

Sounds sketchy. Is this legit? $20 seems steep just to make a phone call.

I get the skepticism, but it's totally legit. I was desperate after trying for weeks to get through. The $20 was worth it to finally talk to someone and get my issues sorted.

How long did you have to wait once they connected you?

0 coins

Not long at all! Maybe 5 minutes? The service does all the waiting for you, which is the best part.

The whole unemployment system is a joke rn. I've been dealing with payment issues for months. Good luck getting anyone on the phone who actually knows what theyre doing 🙄

Here's what you need to do: 1. Try accessing the site using a different browser or device. Sometimes it's just a technical glitch. 2. If that doesn't work, call the unemployment office ASAP. Be prepared to wait on hold for a while. 3. When you get through, ask them to verify your identity and check if there are any flags on your account. 4. Request a temporary password reset if needed. 5. Ask about your payment issue while you're on the phone. It could be related to the login problem. 6. If they can't help over the phone, ask if there's an in-person office you can visit. 7. Document everything: who you talked to, when, and what they said. 8. Check if there are any known system outages or updates happening. Hang in there, OP. The system sucks, but persistence usually pays off eventually.

Wow, thank you so much for this detailed advice! I'll definitely follow these steps. Really appreciate you taking the time to write all this out 🙏

This is solid advice. I'd add: check your email spam folder. Sometimes important notices end up there and you miss crucial info.

have u tried turning it off and on again? 🤣

0 coins

lol if only it were that simple 😅

I heard they're doing a system upgrade this week. Might be why everythings messed up. Try again in a few days maybe?

This happened to me last month. Turns out my identity verification had expired and I had to resubmit all my docs. Check if that might be your issue too.

0 coins

Oh that's interesting, I didn't even know that was a thing. How did you find out about it?

I finally got through to someone on the phone and they told me. It's not something they make obvious on the website 🙄

guys. i know its frustrating but remember the people working there are doing their best. the system is overloaded and they're probably stressed too. be nice when u call!

Lol nah, just someone who's been through it and knows being a jerk doesn't help

Have you checked your bank account details in the system? Sometimes payments get held up if there's a mismatch or if your bank rejects the deposit for some reason.

I went through something similar a few months ago and it was incredibly stressful. Here's what worked for me: First, try clearing your browser cache and cookies completely, then attempt to log in using an incognito/private browsing window. If that doesn't work, the nuclear option that finally got me back in was calling the main TWC number at 8am sharp when they open - you'll still wait, but your chances are better early in the morning. When you do get through, ask them to check if your account has been flagged for fraud prevention (this happened to me after I moved and updated my address). They can usually fix login issues and payment holds on the same call once they verify your identity. Also, make sure you have your social security card and driver's license ready - they'll need to verify everything. Don't give up, the system is broken but the people on the phone can actually help once you reach them!

This is super helpful advice! I'm definitely going to try the incognito browser thing first - never thought of that. The 8am calling tip is gold too, I've been trying to call in the afternoon when they're probably swamped. Really appreciate you sharing what worked for you, gives me hope that I can get this sorted out! 🤞

I had the exact same issue last week! Turns out my account got temporarily suspended because of some "verification issue" that was never communicated to me. What finally worked was going to a local workforce center in person - I know it's a pain, but they were able to look up my account immediately and fix both the login and payment problems on the spot. They said the online system has been having major issues lately and sometimes the only way to resolve it is face-to-face. If you can't get through by phone, I'd definitely recommend finding your nearest TWC office and just showing up with your ID and social security card. Good luck!

Oh wow, this is really encouraging to hear! I didn't even think about going to a physical office - I guess I assumed everything had to be done online these days. Do you know if you need to make an appointment or can you just walk in? I'm willing to drive wherever I need to if it means getting this mess sorted out. Thanks for sharing your experience, it's giving me hope that there's actually a solution!

I'm dealing with something similar right now and it's so frustrating! I've been locked out for about a week now and my payment status shows "pending" but I can't get any details about why. From reading everyone's responses here, it sounds like calling early in the morning is the way to go - I'm going to try the 8am strategy tomorrow. Also planning to check out my local TWC office if the phone doesn't work out. Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences, it's reassuring to know I'm not alone in this mess and that there are actual solutions that have worked for others!

Same boat here! I've been locked out for almost two weeks and it's driving me crazy. The "pending" status is the worst because you have no idea what's going on. I tried calling yesterday afternoon and was on hold for 3 hours before giving up. Definitely going to try the 8am trick - seems like everyone who's had success has mentioned calling right when they open. Let me know how it goes for you tomorrow! We can compare notes on what they tell us. Fingers crossed we both get through 🤞

I've been through this exact nightmare! Here's what finally worked for me after being locked out for 3 weeks: First, try using a completely different device (like your phone instead of computer) and a different internet connection if possible - sometimes their system flags your IP or browser fingerprint. If that doesn't work, call the technical support line (not the regular benefits line) at (800) 558-8321 - they handle login issues specifically and tend to be less busy than the main number. When you get through, tell them you're locked out AND having payment issues - they can often fix both problems in one call. Also, check if you have any outstanding identity verification requirements in your account - that's a common reason for both login blocks and payment holds. The whole system is a mess right now but don't give up! It took me multiple attempts but once I got the right person on the phone, everything was resolved within 20 minutes.

This is incredibly helpful - thank you for the detailed breakdown! I had no idea there was a separate technical support line, that could be a game changer. I've been calling the main benefits number like everyone else and getting nowhere. The tip about using a different device and internet connection is smart too - I never considered that their system might be flagging my setup. Going to try the technical support number first thing tomorrow morning. Really appreciate you taking the time to share what worked for you, especially that specific phone number. Gives me hope that this can actually get resolved! 🙏

I was in the same exact situation about 6 months ago - couldn't log in, payments were stuck, and I was getting zero communication from TWC about what was wrong. After reading through all these responses, I can confirm that the early morning calling strategy really works! I called at 7:58am (2 minutes before they officially opened) and got through in about 45 minutes instead of the usual 2-3 hour wait. Turns out my account had been flagged for "unusual activity" because I had logged in from a coffee shop's WiFi, and they needed me to verify my identity over the phone. The rep was able to unlock my account and release my held payments all in one call. My advice: call early, have all your documents ready (ID, SS card, recent pay stubs), and be patient but persistent. Also, that technical support number someone mentioned (800-558-8321) is legit - I wish I had known about it sooner! Don't lose hope, this can definitely be fixed once you get the right person on the phone.

This is exactly the kind of success story I needed to hear right now! I'm so glad you were able to get everything sorted out. The timing tip about calling 2 minutes before they officially open is brilliant - I never would have thought of that. It makes total sense that fewer people would be calling at that exact moment. I'm definitely going to try both the early morning strategy and that technical support line. It's crazy that they flagged your account just for logging in from different WiFi, but at least it shows they can fix these issues quickly once you reach the right person. Thanks for sharing your experience and giving the rest of us hope! 🤞

I went through this exact same nightmare last month and it was so stressful! What finally worked for me was calling the TWC customer service line first thing in the morning (around 8:15am) and staying on hold for about 2 hours - I know it sucks but it was worth it. When I finally got through, the representative told me my account had been automatically flagged because I missed uploading a document by like ONE DAY past the deadline. She was able to unlock everything immediately and process my pending payments right there on the call. Make sure you have your Social Security card, driver's license, and any recent correspondence from TWC ready when you call. Also try logging in from a different browser or device first - sometimes it's just a weird technical glitch. The whole system is honestly broken but the people on the phone can usually help once you actually reach them. Hang in there and don't give up! 💪
