PA UC payment still showing 'in progress' on payment day - anyone else?
I filed my weekly claim on Sunday like I always do, and normally my payment hits my Money Network card by Tuesday afternoon. It's already 4pm and my UC dashboard is still showing 'in progress' instead of 'paid'. This is the first time it's stayed in this status so long. Anyone else who filed Sunday experiencing the same delay? Getting a bit anxious since I have bills scheduled to come out tomorrow. Should I be worried or is there some kind of system delay happening?

Mine's stuck too!! Filed Sunday morning and usually get paid by now. My dashboard has never been in 'in progress' this long. starting to panic cuz rent is due Friday and I NEED that money!!

This happens occasionally. PA UC sometimes has processing delays, especially after holidays or system updates. Most likely your payment will process by tomorrow. If it doesn't change status by Thursday, then you should definitely contact them. For what it's worth, my daughter's payment was delayed too, and she's been claiming for months without issues.

SAME ISSUE HERE! Filed Sunday night and still showing in progress! This is ridiculous. PA UC system is the absolute WORST. I've been on UI twice before and every single time there's some kind of problem. How hard is it to process payments on time??! People depend on this money!!!

•I actually just got off the phone with a UC rep after trying for hours. They confirmed there's a processing delay affecting claims filed on Sunday. They said all payments should be released by tomorrow and they're working on fixing whatever caused the slowdown. According to the rep, everything is still approved, just delayed in the payment system.

If anyone needs to get through to PA UC about this, I used Claimyr last month when my claim was stuck and they got me connected to a live agent in about 20 minutes after I'd been trying for days on my own. •Yes, they fixed it right away once I finally talked to someone. The problem was on their end - some flag on my account that shouldn't have been there. Took the rep like 2 minutes to fix once I actually got through.

This is a known issue affecting claims filed on 1/28/2025. The Department of Labor is aware and working on it. According to their system status page, payments should process overnight tonight. The delay is related to a database maintenance issue that affected payment processing but not claim approval. Your claims are still valid and approved - just delayed in the payment stage. If you don't see a status change by Thursday morning, then you should contact them directly.

Just wanted to chime in as someone who's been through this before - glad to see everyone's payments finally went through! For future reference, PA UC actually does have a system status page at unemployment.pa.gov/status that shows known issues, though they don't always update it quickly. I learned about it after dealing with a similar delay last year. Also, if this happens again, try checking your payment status around 11 PM - that's when their overnight batch processing usually runs. Hope this helps anyone who might face this issue in the future!
