PA UC payment delays today? Anyone receive direct deposit or Money Network card funds?

I normally get my payment on Wednesdays but nothing hit my account yet today. Filed my weekly claim Sunday night like usual, no issues popped up, and status shows "payable." Anyone else still waiting for their PA UC payment to come through today? Just wondering if it's a system-wide delay or just me. Has anyone actually received their direct deposit or Money Network card payment today?

Nothing on my card yet either, usually hits by 6am but nothing today. Starting to worry because I have bills scheduled to come out tomorrow morning. The PA UC system has been acting weird all week when I try to check my claim status too.

There's often a 24-48 hour delay around the beginning of each quarter when their system updates. This happens in January, April, July, and October. Your payment should arrive tomorrow - the system shows it as payable which means it's been approved and is just working through their payment processing system. I wouldn't worry unless it doesn't show up by Friday.

Thanks for explaining that! I didn't realize they had quarterly updates. That explains why this happened a few months ago too. I'll be patient then and check again tomorrow.

Just checked - still nothing for me. What time does yours usually arrive? Mine is typically there by 9am so this is definitely unusual.

I've been dealing with PA UC for over a year now and payment delays happen ALL THE TIME with zero explanation. Last month they were 3 days late and nobody at UC would tell me why. They'll blame holidays that aren't even holidays or "system maintenance" or whatever excuse they can come up with. The real problem is they're UNDERSTAFFED and can't keep up with claims processing!!

If your payment status shows "payable" but you haven't received it yet, there are a few possibilities: 1. Banking delays - sometimes ACH transfers take an extra day 2. Payment batching - PA UC processes payments in batches throughout the day 3. Quarterly system updates (as someone mentioned) 4. Hidden issues that haven't been marked on your account yet If you don't receive payment by Friday, I'd recommend contacting PA UC directly to check your claim status. If you're having trouble getting through on the phone, consider using Claimyr (claimyr.com) - they can help you reach a PA UC agent much faster than waiting on hold. They have a video demo at https://youtu.be/CEPETxZdo9E?si=WL1ZzVZWG3KiHrg2 showing how it works. I used them last month when my payment was delayed and got through to someone who fixed my issue in about 20 minutes.

Has anyone actually used this Claimyr thing? Sounds too good to be true considering I spent 4 hours on hold last time I called UC.

Glad to hear payments are starting to come through. This happens from time to time. For those who received payments, was there anything different about the transaction description? Sometimes when there's a delay, they change how it appears in your account which can be helpful to know for future reference.

does anyone know if we're getting that extra $300 this month? i heard something about it on the news but my payment was just the regular amount

There is no additional $300 supplement for PA unemployment currently. You might be thinking of a news story about a different state or a legislative proposal that hasn't been implemented. Regular UC in Pennsylvania is just your weekly benefit amount without any federal supplements since those pandemic programs ended years ago.
