PA UC payment delayed this week - nothing showing on Money Network card
Filed my weekly claim on Sunday like I always do, but it's now Thursday and NOTHING has hit my card yet! I checked my PA UC payment status and it shows 'payment issued' from Tuesday, but my Money Network account shows zero activity. This has never happened before - payments usually post by Wednesday morning at the latest. Called the UC service center about 20 times but can't get through (big surprise). Anyone else experiencing delays with their unemployment payment this week? Getting really worried since rent is due Monday and I'm counting on this money.

•Glad I'm not the only one (though sorry you're dealing with this too). Have you tried contacting them? I'm going crazy checking my balance every hour.

There appears to be a statewide delay with the Money Network system this week. I spoke with a representative this morning after calling for 3 days straight, and they confirmed there's a processing issue affecting many claimants. They said payments should post by tomorrow at the latest, and they're working to resolve the technical problem. If you don't see your payment by tomorrow afternoon, you should try calling again.

•Thank you SO MUCH for this info! I've been panicking all day. Did they explain why this is happening or if this will affect future payments too?

•They didn't give me many details about the cause, just that it's a technical issue between the PA Treasury and Money Network's processing system. The rep assured me it's only affecting this week's payments and shouldn't impact future weeks. They're apparently sending notifications about it, but of course those haven't gone out yet.

•The Money Network card is honestly the worst part of the whole unemployment system. My sister-in-law had her card randomly freeze last month and it took 3 weeks to get a replacement. Meanwhile bills are due and they just don't care!

This happens occasionally when there are processing delays between PA Treasury and Money Network. While the official status shows "payment issued," there can be a 1-2 day lag before it actually posts to your card. A few things to try: 1. Check that your payment method hasn't accidentally changed to direct deposit instead of debit card 2. Verify your claim status doesn't have any new open issues 3. Make sure you answered all weekly certification questions correctly If nothing shows up by tomorrow, you definitely need to speak with someone at UC directly. The delay is affecting many people this week, based on what I'm seeing in several PA unemployment groups.

•I double-checked everything you mentioned, and there are no open issues. My payment method is still set to the Money Network card. I'll wait until tomorrow as suggested, but I'm definitely stressed about this. Thanks for the tips!

I've been trying to get through to PA UC for 3 days about my missing payment too! This is ridiculous. Has anyone actually managed to talk to a person there this week?

•I was struggling with the same issue trying to reach PA UC about my delayed payment. After 2 days of constant busy signals, I tried using Claimyr (claimyr.com) and actually got through to a representative in about 20 minutes. They have this system that holds your place in line and calls you when an agent is available. Saved me hours of redialing. There's a video showing how it works: https://youtu.be/CEPETxZdo9E?si=WL1ZzVZWG3KiHrg2 The rep confirmed there's a processing delay affecting a lot of payments this week, and mine should be fixed by tomorrow. Might be worth a try if you're still struggling to get through.

•Thanks for the tip! I just watched the video and might try this tomorrow if my payment doesn't show up. Did they give you any specific information about what's causing the delays?

•Yes, the agent I spoke with said it's a technical issue with their payment processing system that started Monday night. Apparently it's affecting claimants across the state, especially those who filed on Sunday. She assured me it's being worked on and most payments should be processed by tomorrow.

•While there are occasional delays, I've been on UC for 7 months and this is only the second time I've experienced a payment issue. If you're having frequent problems, it might be worth checking if there's something specific with your claim that's causing recurring issues.
