UI Benefits Denied When Trying to Reopen Claim Online - Help!
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble reopening my unemployment claim online. The system is saying my benefits are being denied. Has anyone else run into this issue? I'm not sure what to do next and could really use some advice.

Ugh, I've been there. The online system is a nightmare sometimes. Have you tried calling them directly? It might be faster to get it sorted out over the phone.

•I've been trying to call for days but can't get through. It's so frustrating!

•Pro tip: call right when they open. I got through after only 30 minutes on hold that way.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/MCgaMJPY8Us

•Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit?

•Yeah, it's legit. I was skeptical at first too, but it saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo.

•How long did it take for them to call you back?

•It took about 2 hours for me, but I've heard it can vary. Still way better than trying to call yourself all day.

Here's what you need to do: 1. Double-check all your information is correct in the system 2. Look for any messages or alerts in your online account 3. If possible, upload any supporting documents 4. Try to reopen your claim during off-peak hours (early morning or late evening) 5. If all else fails, you'll need to speak with a representative Remember, persistence is key. Don't give up!

•This is solid advice. I'd add: keep a log of all your attempts to contact them. It might come in handy later.

•Have you tried contacting your local representative? Sometimes they can help push things through.

Quick question - did you exhaust your benefits before trying to reopen? That could be why it's saying you're denied.

•I don't think so, but how can I check that for sure?

•Log into your account and look for a section called 'Claim Summary' or 'Benefit Status'. It should show your total benefit amount and how much you've used.
