NYDOL ghosted me after submitting 1099 - What to do?

Ugh, welcome to the club 🙄 I swear the DOL is like a black hole where documents go to die. I've been in the same boat, sent my stuff in MONTHS ago and still crickets. It's so frustrating!

Have you checked your online account? Sometimes they update the status there without sending a notification. It's worth a shot!

Quick question - did you get any kind of confirmation when you uploaded/faxed your 1099? Like a reference number or anything?

Not to be that guy, but are you sure you sent it to the right fax number/uploaded to the correct portal? I made that mistake once and wasted weeks waiting for a response that was never gonna come 🤦‍♂️

This might sound weird, but have you tried reaching out to them on Twitter? I've seen some people get responses that way. Worth a shot! 🤷‍♀️
