SDI payments not received - What to do when you're stuck waiting?

Hey everyone, I'm having some issues with my SDI payments. I haven't received anything yet and I'm getting worried. I've tried contacting them but no luck. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on what I should do next?

I found a way to solve SDI payment delays and issues, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T80eqkav8Hs

Ugh, I'm in the same boat. It's been weeks and still nothing. The system is so broken 😤

Weeks? Try months! I've been waiting since January. This is ridiculous.

Calling is impossible. I've tried like 50 times and always get disconnected or put on eternal hold 🙄

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Are you sure its legit?

Yeah, I was skeptical at first too. But I tried it and got through in about 2 hours. Saved me days of frustration.

$20 just to talk to someone? That's highway robbery!

I get it, but for me it was worth it. Time is money, and I was wasting so much time trying to get through on my own.

Have you checked your online account? Sometimes they update info there before sending anything out.

Make sure all your paperwork is in order. I had a delay because I forgot to submit one form. Double check everything!

Thanks for the tip! I'll go through everything again just to be sure.

Here's what I've learned from my experience with SDI payments: 1. Be persistent: Keep calling and checking your online account regularly. 2. Document everything: Keep a log of all your attempts to contact them, including dates and times. 3. Check your mail carefully: Sometimes important notices can look like junk mail. 4. Reach out to your local representative: They might be able to help push things along. 5. Join SDI Facebook groups: There's often good info and support there. 6. Consider using a calling service: As mentioned above, it can save time. 7. Be prepared when you do get through: Have all your info ready. Hang in there, OP. It's a frustrating process, but you'll get there!

Great advice! I'd add: make sure your doctor has submitted all necessary medical info. That held up my claim for weeks.

Anyone else notice that the payment dates on the website don't match when you actually get the money? So confusing 🤔

YES! I thought I was going crazy. The dates never line up with my bank deposits.

Pro tip: if you can, set up direct deposit. It's way faster than waiting for checks in the mail.
