SDI Payments Delayed - No Explanation Given. What to Do?

Hey everyone, I'm having some issues with my SDI payments. They're delayed and I'm not sure why. Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas on what could be causing the hold-up or what I should do next?

Ugh, I'm in the same boat. My payments have been delayed for weeks now. It's so frustrating! Have you tried calling them? I've been trying but can never get through 😤

Calling is a nightmare. I spent hours on hold and still got nowhere. There has to be a better way!

I feel ya. The whole system is a joke. How are we supposed to survive when they can't even get their act together? 🤦‍♂️

I haven't tried calling yet, but it sounds like a total headache. Might have to give it a shot though if things don't improve soon.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Wow, that sounds too good to be true. Does it really work? How long did you have to wait?

Idk man, paying to get customer service seems sketchy. Shouldn't this be free?

I get the skepticism, but it honestly saved me so much time and stress. I waited maybe 30 minutes? Way better than hours on hold. And yeah, it sucks to pay, but for me it was worth it to finally get answers.

Have you checked your online account? Sometimes there's info there about why payments are delayed. Could be missing documents or verification issues.

Bruh, SDI is always playing games 🤡 One time they delayed my payments cuz they "lost" my paperwork. Make sure you keep copies of EVERYTHING you send them!

Facts 💯 Document everything and follow up constantly. It's annoying but it's the only way to get paid sometimes.

Here's what you need to do to troubleshoot SDI payment delays: 1. Check your online account for any messages or alerts 2. Verify all your documents are submitted and up to date 3. Make sure your doctor has submitted all necessary medical certifications 4. Double-check that your employer has submitted wage info correctly 5. If everything looks good, try to contact SDI directly 6. Keep a log of all your attempts to contact them 7. If all else fails, consider reaching out to your local state representative for help Remember, patience is key. The system is overwhelmed, but persistence usually pays off. Good luck!
