SDI payment processed but not received - what to do?

Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my SDI payment. My claim status shows as 'processed,' but I still haven't received any money. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm getting worried because I really need this payment. Any advice on what I should do or say when I call them?

I found a way to solve SDI payment delay issues, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQdOzAxeDns

Ugh, I've been there. It's so frustrating when you're counting on that money and it doesn't show up. Here's what I'd suggest: • Call SDI first thing in the morning. Their lines get jammed quick. • Have your claim number and all your docs ready. • Ask them to check for any holds on your account. • Get a timeframe for when you can expect the payment. • If they give you the runaround, ask to speak to a supervisor. Stay calm but be firm. Good luck!

This is solid advice 💯 I'd add: take notes during the call, including the name of who you spoke to. It helps if you need to follow up later.

Thanks so much for this! I'll definitely follow these steps. Fingers crossed it works out 🤞

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

$20??? That's highway robbery! The government should make it easier to reach them without having to pay extra 😡

I get the skepticism, but it seriously saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo

How long did you have to wait after using the service?

It took about 45 minutes, but I just went about my day until my phone rang. Way better than being stuck listening to hold music!

I'm in the same boat, buddy. Been waiting for 3 weeks now. This system is so broken 😫

3 weeks? That's nothing. Try 2 months 🤡 I'm about ready to camp outside their office

2 months?! omg how are you surviving? this is insane

Pro tip: if you cant get thru on the phone, try reaching out on Twitter. Sometimes their social media team is more responsive.

This actually worked for me! Got a DM within a day and they helped sort it out.

Anyone else notice that the SDI website is always "under maintenance" when you need it most? 🙄 It's like they're trying to make this as difficult as possible

PREACH 👏👏👏

Conspiracy theory: they do it on purpose to reduce claims 🕵️‍♂️

Hey OP, make sure you double-check all your paperwork. I thought my claim was all good, but turns out I made a tiny mistake on one form and that held up EVERYTHING for weeks.

This is such a common issue unfortunately! I went through the same thing last month. My payment showed "processed" for almost a week before I actually got it. Here's what helped me: 1. Check if your bank info is correct in your account - sometimes there's a mismatch 2. Look for any pending "verification" requests you might have missed 3. When you call, ask specifically about "payment release holds" - they don't always mention these automatically Also, don't panic if it's only been a few days since it showed processed. The system is slow but it usually comes through. Keep us updated on how it goes!

This is really helpful advice! I'm dealing with a similar situation right now and didn't know about the "payment release holds" - that could definitely be what's happening with mine. Thanks for breaking it down step by step! 🙏

I had this exact same issue a few months ago - so stressful when you're depending on that money! What worked for me was calling the 1-800-480-3287 number right at 8am when they open. The wait times are brutal later in the day. When you do get through, ask them to check for any "payment blocks" or "verification flags" on your account. In my case, they needed me to verify my identity again even though I'd already done it. The whole thing got resolved within 48 hours once I knew what the actual problem was. Also, make sure to ask for a reference number for your call - it helps if you need to call back. Hang in there, it will get sorted out! 💪
