SDI claim stuck after waiting period - no payments received. Help!

Hey everyone, I'm having an issue with my SDI claim. My waiting period was processed, but I haven't received any payments since then. It's been a while and I'm getting worried. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on what I should do or who I should contact? I'm not sure if there's a problem with my claim or if this is normal. Thanks in advance for any help!

I found a way to solve SDI claim payment delays, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=86VV3ltfm3A

Ugh, I'm in the same boat. It's so frustrating! I've been waiting for weeks after my waiting period was processed. Have you tried calling them? I've heard it's nearly impossible to get through tho 🙄

I haven't tried calling yet. I'm dreading it tbh. How long have you been waiting?

Going on 3 weeks now. It's ridiculous. Let me know if you have any luck getting through!

3 weeks? That's nothing. Try 2 months 🤡 The system is broken af

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds sketchy. Is it legit? $20 seems steep just to make a phone call.

I was skeptical too, but it actually worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration. Worth it imo

Can you give more details about how it works? Do they have your personal info?

They just need your phone number to forward the call. No other personal info required. It's pretty straightforward - you choose the department you need, pay, and wait for them to call you when they get an agent.

Here's what you need to do: 1. Check your online account for any pending issues or required documents. 2. If everything looks good online, you NEED to call them. Be prepared to wait. 3. When you get through, ask specifically about any pending verifications or issues with your claim. 4. Request a timeline for when you might receive payment. 5. Ask what steps you should take to ensure everything is in order. Don't give up! Sometimes you have to be persistent. Good luck!

Thank you so much for the detailed advice! I'll definitely follow these steps. Fingers crossed 🤞

This is solid advice. I'd add: keep a log of all your calls and who you speak to. It can help if you need to escalate later.

have u tried faxing them? i know it sounds old school but i've heard it can work sometimes lol

This happened to me last year. Turns out there was a glitch in their system and my claim got stuck. Had to call and have them manually push it through. Don't wait, call ASAP!

Oh no, that sounds like a nightmare. How long did it take to resolve once you called?

0 coins

It took about a week after I called for everything to get sorted and start receiving payments. The wait was brutal but worth it in the end.

Anyone else feel like the whole system is designed to make us give up? 🤔 It's like they're hoping we'll just forget about the money we're owed smh

100% agree. It's a total clown show 🤡

Nah, I think it's just underfunded and overwhelmed. Still sucks tho

Pro tip: if you can't get through on the phone, try reaching out to your local state representative's office. They often have liaisons who can help with EDD issues. Worked for me!

This is actually great advice. My cousin did this and got her issue resolved in like 2 days. Definitely worth a shot!
