Usually drivers license or state ID + ssn card works best. Sometimes they ask for birth certificate too
New York Unemployment: Called Governor's office, got through to DOL in 5 minutes!
Finally got through to unemployment after weeks of trying! Called the governor's office, asked to be transferred to DOL, and within 5 minutes I was talking to someone who fixed my claim. My benefits should start coming now. Thanks to everyone here who suggested this method!

Previous employer claiming insubordination to block New York Unemployment - waiting 6 weeks

check ur spam folder for any notices they mightve sent about the initial denial. they'll probably ask y u didnt appeal right away
