So I normally get my NY unemployment deposit every tuesday by like 5 AM. I checked my account this morning and nothing was there. My payment history online shows that the payment was released yesterday for $590 but its not on my keybank card yet. I know it's not what people want to hear, but its time to save whatever money we have left. Cut out everything that's not essential. The economy is changing and we need to adapt. If you can physically work, please start looking for anything available. Maybe it won't be your dream job or pay what you're used to, but something is better than nothing right now. Remember who you were before all this - whether you were a chef, bartender, server, whatever your skills are - use them somewhere new if your old place isn't hiring. The government isn't giving us more assistance and sitting around waiting won't pay your bills, especially if you have kids counting on you. We can get through this if we support each other instead of just complaining. Let's motivate each other to move forward. We got this!

So I've used up all my available benefit days but my claim doesn't expire until February 12, 2023. The system isn't giving me any option to file a new claim and I'm totally confused about what to do next. When I log in to check my payment history it shows zero days remaining but the expiration date is still months away. I tried calling the unemployment office but after waiting for over an hour the call dropped. Anyone else dealing with this? Do I need to file a new claim even though my current one technically hasn't expired yet? This is stressing me out because I still haven't found work and really need the income.
