Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. I'm wondering if there was a data breach we don't know about. I'm seeing WAY too many of these posts lately. Maybe all our info is floating around the dark web from some hack.
Apparently there was a HUGE breach of unemployment systems nationwide during COVID. The feds estimated like $400 BILLION in fraudulent claims. Insane.

have u tried the unemployment callback form on their website? Some people say it works but I personally never got a call back. Might be worth trying anyway, who knows
That callback form is a joke. I filled it out 4 times and never got a single call back.
I actually got a callback once! But it was 3 weeks later when I had already figured out another solution 🙄
Try this hack: call the spanish language line even if you don't speak spanish. They usually have shorter wait times and most agents speak english too. Just say "english please" when they answer and they'll transfer you or help you directly.
Can confirm this works sometimes! Just be polite about asking for English.

go to ur local unemployment office in person!! seriously, waiting on phone or for website updates is useless. I went down to the office after having the exact same problem and they fixed it on the spot. bring ID and both bank account info with you.

•This is good advice if you have the time, but the wait times at the physical offices can be insane too. Last time I went there was a 4 hour wait. That's why I ended up using claimyr.com instead.

My roommate is dealing with the EXACT same issue right now! He's been waiting for 3 weeks for a payment after changing banks. Called every day and finally got through yesterday - they told him his payment was "flagged for manual review" and is still being processed. Such BS.
