If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

i swear ny unemployment has the worst technology ever created. every. single. week. there's some new glitch or error message. like they built this system in 1995 and never updated it. i feel for you.

Honestly from what I understand the whole unemployment tax refund thing is still a mess. Some people got their adjusted refunds automatically, some got separate checks, some had to amend returns... there's no consistency AT ALL with how NY is handling it

Dude are we living the same life?? This JUST happened to me. Turned out my BYE date hit even though I had 19 days showing. Called 46 times before getting thru. They had to manually adjust something. Keep trying!!

46 times?? 😭 I'm already at like 30 attempts. This is insane.

I wish I was exaggerating but I literally kept a tally on a post-it note lol. The system is beyond broken. Hang in there!

Stupid question but did you check your payment method info? Sometimes the system randomly deletes direct deposit info or switches back to the debit card option.

Not a stupid question at all - I did check that. All my payment info is still correct. It's just not releasing any payment at all.

Got paper check instead of direct deposit for NY unemployment with confusing payment history from 2020-2021 showing random transactions - anyone else's payment method switched?

So frustrating! I selected direct deposit for my unemployment but got a paper check in the mail today (9/15). My payment record shows a release date of 7/25 but I didnt get anything in my bank account. The weird part is that my tax refund from the state went directly to my account no problem! Looking at my payment history is so confusing - there's a bunch of random amounts being added and subtracted: 04-27-2020 $0.00 04-27-2020 $0.00 01-18-2021 -$1,200.00 01-04-2021 $1,200.00 01-18-2021 $0.00 04-12-2021 -$1,339.00 08-30-2021 -$2,185.00 08-30-2021 $0.00 08-20-2021 $2,206.48 08-30-2021 -$21.48 I don't understand why there are entries from April 2020 showing $0.00 twice. Then in January 2021, it shows $1,200.00 added on 01-04-2021, but then that exact amount (-$1,200.00) was removed on 01-18-2021, followed immediately by another $0.00 entry that same day. The April 12th entry shows another deduction of -$1,339.00 with no explanation. Then August gets really weird - on 08-20-2021 they added $2,206.48, but then on 08-30-2021, they deducted -$2,185.00, followed by a $0.00 entry, and then another small deduction of -$21.48 on the same day. Those last two deductions total exactly what they added on 08-20! Not sure what all these transactions mean but at least I finally got paid. Has anyone else had their payment method randomly switched? I'm concerned there might be something wrong with my direct deposit information in their system since they clearly have my bank details for tax refunds.

anyone else notice how the payment history makes ZERO sense? My account shows random negative amounts too. One agent told me it's just how their accounting system works - the negatives aren't actually taking money from you, it's just their weird way of tracking adjustments.

I asked about this when I finally got through. The negative entries are internal accounting adjustments. They don't affect your payment - just how they track it in their system.

So I was about to throw my phone after 4 hours on hold with ny unemployment when my buddy told me about claimyr.com. Complete game changer - got a call back with an actual agent on the line within the hour. Explained my direct deposit issue and they fixed it right there. My next payment went straight to my bank account like it was supposed to.

It literally just gets you past the hold time. They don't promise to fix your claim - just to get you to an actual human who can help. For me it was worth it after wasting DAYS on hold.

THIS!!! I wasted THREE DAYS trying to get through before using Claimyr. Best decision ever.

try reaching out through twitter @NYSLabor - sometimes they respond faster there than on phone. include your full name, last 4 of SSN, and problem in a DM (not public tweet!!

This EXACT thing happened to my husband in october. His BYE date hit, he did the id.me, tried to file new claim, got that error message. Then got payment one week but not the next. We were totally confused. Turns out the UI system was doing a "soft BYE review" (thats what the agent called it) where they dont make you actually submit a whole new claim but just verify identity. But the messaging is TERRIBLE. Took us calling everyday for a week but when we got thru the agent released all payments in about 5 mins. Use claimyr.com if you're desperate - thats how we finally got someone.

That's really helpful to know - did he just have to verify his identity with the agent or was there something else they needed from him?

the agent just had to push it through on their end. they could see the identity verification was done, system just needed a human to approve it 🙄
