If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

lmao welcome to NY unemployment, where nothing makes sense and the rules are made up 🤡 But for real, you need to apply for PEUC extension. The system should have done this automatically but it's broken af. You gotta call and talk to someone.

This is sucha common issue with ny unemployment right now! I went through it last month. Your regular UI benefits expired (usually after 26 weeks), and you need to switch to the extension program. The $300 federal supplement continues until Sept 4, but only if youre getting some form of base unemployment.

Got NY unemployment message "exhausted all benefits" for August 9-15 claim but only been on UI since May - Will I still get paid?

I just finished certifying for my weekly benefits for August 10-16, 2021 and got a weird message saying I've exhausted all unemployment benefits on my claim. This is super weird because I've only been on unemployment since May (about 3 months) and should have way more time left. After I submitted my weekly certification, I got this confirmation page that says: "Claim Complete Your claim for the week of 8/9/2021-8/15/2021 has been entered for processing." But then right underneath that, there's this alarming message: "Important Information You have exhausted all unemployment benefits on your claim. We encourage you to use the job search resources available on our Career Services resource page. To find out if you are eligible for assistance provided by other New York State programs and services, go to www.mybenefits.ny.gov." It also mentioned something about Direct Deposit options at the bottom, saying "You may choose to have your weekly benefits directly deposited into your checking account. You must have a check handy in order to enter your bank routing and checking account numbers." This is confusing because it says my claim has been entered for processing, but then tells me I've exhausted everything and suggested I look at job search resources. Anyone else seeing this? Should I still expect my payment this week? I really need this money for rent and I'm freaking out a little. Has anyone dealt with this before? I've never missed a weekly certification and haven't had any issues until now. I'm in New York State, if that helps.

yo if youre still having this problem after a few days DM me, i know someone who can help get your claim pushed through faster

NY unemployment shows 14 effective days remaining after BYE date (8/15/2021) - should I still certify after receiving payment?

My benefit year officially ended on 8/15/2021 but my payment history screen is showing I still have 14 effective days remaining. My BYE date clearly says 08/15/2021 and today is 8/16. My weekly benefit amount is $153.00, with a maximum payable amount of $3,978.00. I just certified for the week ending 8/15/2021 and the system accepted it. The payment was even released today (8/16/2021) according to the transaction history which shows "Your payment for the week ending 8/15/2021 was released on 08/16/2021." Now I'm confused... if my benefit year ended, why am I still able to certify and get paid? And should I keep certifying as long as I have effective days left? I'm afraid of accidentally committing fraud or something if I'm not supposed to be claiming anymore. My Start/Effective Date was 08/10/2020, and I still have those 14 effective days remaining according to my account. The system shows "Latest Transaction(s) as of 08/16/2021" and it says "You last certified for benefits for the week ending 08/15/2021." The page also explains that "Each day in a week (Monday through Sunday) that you qualify for benefits is called an effective day. There is a maximum of 4 effective days each week, and you must qualify for all 4 effective days in order to receive your total weekly benefit rate. For each day in the week that you are not eligible to receive benefits, you will receive one less effective day, which is equivalent to one fourth of your weekly benefit rate." There's also a note about FPUC payments: "Weekly payments for $600 showing 'O' under the 'Effective Days' column, and Debit Card or Direct Deposit under the 'Type' column, are the Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation (FPUC) payments." Anyone else experience this weird situation with effective days remaining after your BYE date passed? Not sure what to do.

Dealing with NY unemployment is LITERALLY the worst part of being unemployed 💀 More stressful than not having a job tbh

Just adding another confirmation - this happened to me too and I used up all my remaining days after my BYE date with no issues. Just keep certifying as normal until you hit zero days.

I filed in October and I'm still waiting for them to adjust mine 🙃 I've given up and started delivering for DoorDash just to make ends meet. Good luck man, hope yours gets fixed faster than mine.

That's so discouraging to hear. Have you tried calling them at all? Or are you just waiting for it to resolve on its own?

u know whats crazy? i was also getting $182 and then one day it just randomly jumped to $405 with no notification. check ur payment history every morning - sometimes they update it without telling u!

0 coins

check ur payment history and see what it says for "type" on the last payment. if it says UI, then u used up regular benefits. If it says PEUC, then something else is wrong

sounds like u need to switch over to PEUC
