Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. has ur roomate checked her payment history on the website? sometimes it will show a hold reason. login > payment history > look for any message in red
She checked and there's nothing showing up at all for the last 2 weeks, not even a pending payment or hold message. It's like the certifications just disappeared.

Everytime the system "updates" this happens to thousands of people. It's like clockwork. I've been on unemployment since last year and had to deal with this 4 separate times. Each time the only solution was calling. Save yourself the headache and use a service to get thru. I've used claimyr.com twice and it was worth every penny since I got my benefits back in days instead of weeks.
are there any other alternatives to claimyr? just curious if there are cheaper options

•Not that I know of. I tried some auto-dialer apps but they didn't work for getting through the unemployment IVR system. This was the only thing that worked for me.

you need to find out if your BYE date passed. That's your Benefit Year End date. If it passed, you gotta file a new claim even if you have money left. The system won't tell you this clearly.
have u tried messaging them on twitter? sounds stupid but i got a response that way when i couldn't get through on the phone

Another emerald card data point: deposit date 9/22, actually received 9/25 (so 3 days late). Got about $1,190 back. Hope that helps!
To everyone still waiting - I just checked the IRS2Go app and it now shows that emerald card deposits for this week's batch were delayed due to "processing issues" and should all be deposited by end of day Monday. Might save some of you from checking your accounts every 5 minutes like I was 😅

lmao welcome to NY unemployment, where nothing makes sense and the rules are made up 🤡 But for real, you need to apply for PEUC extension. The system should have done this automatically but it's broken af. You gotta call and talk to someone.

This is sucha common issue with ny unemployment right now! I went through it last month. Your regular UI benefits expired (usually after 26 weeks), and you need to switch to the extension program. The $300 federal supplement continues until Sept 4, but only if youre getting some form of base unemployment.

I just came to say the NY unemployment system is a complete JOKE. I've been trying to resolve an issue for MONTHS and can't get anyone on the phone. The fact that we have to worry about normal system adjustments just shows how poorly they communicate with us. It's embarrassing.

this happened to my roommate and it turned out it was a cost of living adjustment they applied retroactively. she never got any notification or explanation, it just showed up. the system is so broken they dont even bother explaining when they give us MORE money lol
