If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

TurboTax user here - filed April 10th and can confirm that the exemption was automatically included in my calculations. You can check by looking at your tax forms in your TurboTax account. The unemployment income should show the reduced amount.

Thanks! Just checked mine and you're right, it shows the reduced amount.

Has anyone actually received a straight answer from calling NY unemployment about this? Their phone system is an absolute nightmare... 😤

0 coins

I've literally never gotten through to a human on that line. It's like they don't exist

They exist! Just hidden behind an impossible phone system. Try claimyr - totally worth it to actually talk to someone.

NY Unemployment Payment Not Showing for Week After 8/15 - Still Showing Previous Payment from 8/16 Instead of Current Week

Just certified for my weekly unemployment on Sunday and I'm having a weird problem. The system is still showing last week's payment from 10/18/2021 that was released on 10/19/2021, but nothing for this current week. My account details show: Start/Effective Date: 07/26/2021 Benefit Year Ending Date: 07/31/2022 Weekly Benefit Amount: $468.00 Maximum Amount Payable: $12,168.00 Effective Days Remaining: 101 According to the system, I last certified for benefits for the week ending 08/15/2021, and my payment for that week was released on 08/16/2021. I certified on time like always and I didn't work or change anything. The system usually updates by Tuesday with my new payment. When I log into uihp2.labor.ny.gov, I can see all my information, including the note about Weekly payments for $600 showing "O" under the "Effective Days" column, and Debit Card or Direct Deposit under the "Type" column, which are the Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation (FPUC) payments. I understand that each day in a week (Monday through Sunday) that I qualify for benefits is called an effective day, with a maximum of 4 effective days each week. I know I need to qualify for all 4 effective days to receive my total weekly benefit rate. But I haven't worked at all, haven't received vacation pay, and have been available every day. Has anyone else experienced this delay? Is the NY unemployment system having issues this week or should I be worried something's wrong with my claim? Usually by 6:37 my payment information would have updated.

Is mercury in retrograde or something?? 🪐 Seems like EVERYONE is having unemployment issues this week!

lollll i was thinking the same thing. maybe it's a full moon 🌕

did u get a message in ur inbox on the website? sometimes they send notices about payment holds there and its easy to miss

0 coins

I checked and there's nothing new in my inbox. Just old generic messages.

Did you check if you're eligible for any extensions? NY sometimes has extended benefits periods during times of high unemployment. You have to call them to find out though - the website is useless.

I've been trying to call for days but can't get through. Always disconnects after the automated messages.

try using claimyr.com - it's the only way I ever got through to an actual person at unemployment

When my benefits ran out last year I started doing odd jobs on TaskRabbit - furniture assembly, helping people move, etc. Made decent money and it was flexible enough that I could still go to interviews. Just an idea!

I'm an IT guy who had to help my mom with ID.me last month. Here's my advice: 1. Use a computer, not a phone 2. Make sure your browser is updated (Chrome works best) 3. Clear your cookies/cache before starting 4. Use an ethernet connection if possible, not WiFi 5. Have all docs pre-scanned at high resolution 6. If you get stuck in the verification loop, completely log out, wait 24 hours, then try again with a different email address The system is poorly designed but eventually works if you're persistent. If all else fails, getting a human on the phone is your best bet. I've heard good things about claimyr.com for that part.

This is super helpful, thank you! I'm definitely not tech savvy so this breakdown really helps.

the logging out and waiting 24hrs advice is key! their system gets stuck in loops sometimes

I found out that if you have an iPhone 8 or newer you can actually create a digital state ID in your Apple Wallet and use that for ID.me verification! Skips the whole document upload process. Wish someone had told me that before I spent days fighting with their system.

0 coins

Wait really?? That would be so much easier! Is there a tutorial somewhere?

Just google "apple wallet digital ID setup" - only works in some states tho, NY is one of them

check ur messages in ur online account. sometimes they send a message there but dont email u about it 🙄 classic NYSDOL, making everything as confusing as possible

0 coins

One thing nobody tells you: if you log into ID.me directly (not through the NYSDOL link) you can see your verification status. If it shows verified there but not in your unemployment account, that means NYSDOL hasn't processed it yet. That's when you need to get on the phone with them.

Just checked and ID.me shows I'm verified! So that means the holdup is definitely on NYSDOL's end. Thanks for this tip!
