NYDOL impossible to reach by phone or email - any tips to actually get through?
Hey everyone, I'm having a really frustrating time trying to get in touch with the unemployment office. I've been trying to reach them by email and phone for days now, but no luck. It's like they've disappeared off the face of the earth or something. Has anyone else had this problem lately? Any tips on how to actually get through to a real person there?

Has anyone tried going to the office in person? I'm thinking of making the trip tomorrow, even though it's a long drive. Getting desperate here.
I tried that last week. Waited in line for 3 hours only to be told they can't help and I need to call the hotline. 🤡 Save yourself the trip.

Hey everyone, I'm having some trouble with my unemployment application. I got a letter from NYDOL and I'm not sure what to do next. I'm trying to finish my application but I'm confused about how to enter my wages from California. Has anyone dealt with claiming unemployment from another state? What steps did you take? Try calling right when they open. I got through after only 30 minutes on hold that way.
